Cradle of Filth(COF) ni aku tak boleh paham suara penyanyi dia. Tapi memang cara dia bawa HBTN sangat baik.

---------
For anyone who missed this month or has not seen it here is Metal Hammer UK preview of DOD.

Wildest Dreams

"Instantly striking is the fresh guitar sound. Very raw - a la 'BNW': Underpinned by a subtle rock 'n' roll vibe, kind of like Queen or Thin Lizzy but with Maiden guitars. This one is definitely reminiscent of 80's self-titled debut"

Rainmaker

"Its gets better. this track could be 'Seventh Son of a 7th Son' part two"

No More Lies

"This one has an Eastern Feel - Mother Russia with a fear of the dark aesthetic. The interplay between the vocal refrain and Nicko's thundering drums is like present day Killing Joke"

Montsegur

"Opening with a Badass galloping riff, we get blastbeat drumming before riff, after riff, after heavy-mother****** riff. If you ever doubted Maiden's relevance in today's music scene, THINK AGIAN. This is contemporary, yet CLASSIC. A Three-guitar-clenched-fist punching the air call to arms. MAGNIFICENT. Oh, and its the first mention of satan.

Dance of Death

"Approx eight minutes long. Very Dark, with an overt pagan theme. Quite proggy, but filled with fire, death and doom. Satan evidently overcoming his earliuer bashfulness, makes another appearance. Orchestral backing kicks in after 2 1/2 minutes. Not bad but not quite Number of the Beast Part 2 (i think he means lyrics and not the actual song comparison)

Gates of Tomorrow

"This one opens with a freash ripping guitar sound, the main riff kicks in and they're away - galloping bass, duel vocals in a H.E.A.V.Y, Maiden meets Sabbath kinda groove. Think Flight of Icarus or a slowed down 'Die with your boots on'

New Frontier

"This one has all the youthful swagger of 'Aces High', progressing to a judas priest style guitar solo.

Paschendale

"Another CLASSIC Maiden war epic. lamenting unkown soldiers, you know the routine. Its got a cool refrain and lots of guitar noodling.

Face in the Sand

"2 minutes to midnight style prog intro. Lyrics about been disillusioned with modern life. An 'End of days' apocalyptic number. 'Everyone's praying/but no one's believing - followed by Heaven Can Wait style Wah Woahs six or so minutes in"

Age Of Innocence

"Very Heavy with a groove. Recalling classic influences such as Queen and Thin Lizzy. The lyrics are bleak. a 60/40 mix of SIT an No Prayer. Angry and vitriolic with Bruce screaming 'I can't be compromising in my life no more/ I can't be sympathising with a new lost cause'. ACE!"

JourneyMan

"This is a very different kind of Iron Maiden song. a post-album chill out anthem if you will. It opens up with a mellow proggy riff and is predominatly acoustic with some serene orchestral moments creeping in. Iron Madein eh? Still full of suprises

Nope, management and record distributor Maiden (EMI label) betul2 punya simpan rahsia. Sampai sekarang lagu yang diedarkan cuma Wildest Dream. Yang lain semua masih belum bocor. Advanced Tape yang Maiden dah kasi kat music journalist dan radio stations kat Europe and USA pun nampaknya takde sapa berani untuk bocor kat peminat. Tension woi...tak sabar heheehe

Ni dia, lagi satu advanced tape review untuk album Dance of Death. Ni kali dari Majalah Kerrang. Woi, kalau betul la, apa yang ditulis ni, aku masih tak boleh percaya. Dah tak sabar ni hehehehe.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Dance Of Death get's an amazing KKKKK Kerrang Review (Updated)!
Ok boys and girls, here it is in full and it's ****** glorious.Apologies for any typo's i had to rattle this thing up in double-quick time before my gaffer arrives.Prepare to be excited:

It's all just a painful memory now, but Maiden conoisseurs had to endure a lot of gritting of the teeth during the 1990's.The albums the band produce during that period ranged from half-baked 'No Prayer For The Dying' through to the turgid 'Virtual XI'; the bands knack of making exhilarating heavy metal records seemingly knackered by the loss of guitarist Adrian Smith and, later, frontman Bruce Dickinson.

But how times have changed. One timeley reunion, and one magnificent comeback album later, and suddenly Iron Maiden are just about the coolest thing on the planet. The number of bands currently aping that trademark gallop and those scintilating twin-guitar harmonies has risen dramatically in recent years, with everyone from blatant worshipers like Iced Earth and In Flames through to more unexpected acolytes such as Atreyu and 3 Inches Of Blood ass 'fessing up to the self-evident fact that
there is no sound on this earth more glorious and celebratory than Iron Maiden on top form and in full flight.

All of Which means that 'Dance Of Death' marks the point where the pressure on Steve Harris and co to deliver a blinder has increased tenfold.2000's 'Brave New World' was a strong return to form. The tension between Dickinson and Harris was crackling once again, and the edge that Adrian Smith brings to the band's songwriting made the band's 12th album an enormously satisfying experience for die-hards and newbie fans alike. But was it a false dawn? Was it bollocks!

Put simply, 'Dance Of Death' is Iron Maiden's best album since 1988's 'Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son'.Heavier and darker than 'Brave New World' and with none of that albums long winded-rambling,this is as passionate and fired-up as the band have EVER sounded.

First single and opening track 'Wildest Dreams' is arguably the weakest thing here. but it is a grower; a thunderous heads-down race to the finish with a deceptively catchy chorus and the kind of dramatic, rythmic flourishes that have been conspicuous by their ansence from Maiden albums for far too long.
'Rainmaker'. with it's explosion of triple-guitar harmony histrionics and another devasting chorus, is one of the finest songs Maiden have ever recorded.'No More Lies' is the kind of song that Steve Harris has been attempting to pull off for years: a punchy and progressive seven-minuter that trounces the lumbering durges of the Blaze Bayley era.Three tracks in and anyone still doubting that Maiden have recaptured the magic of their heyday should be foaming at the mouth by now.
'Montsegur' is the heaviest thing to appear on a Maiden album since the band's early days; a brutally melodic anthem that strongly recalls 'Where Eagles Dare' from 1983's 'Piece Of Mind' album. The title-track is another one of Harris' convoluted epics, with strong shades of 70's prog legends Jethro Tull and a faint, but forgivable, whiff of Spinal Tap.'Gates Of Tomorrow' and 'New Frontier' follow; both surging, mid-tempo bursts of muscular melody and percussive bluster. The latter features the first ever writing credit for drummer Nicko McBain and positively reeks of single potential.Next comes 'Paschendale' another epic and possibly the finest thing here; eight minutes of structural invention, cavalier aggression and lyrical poignancy.
The final three tracks on 'Dance Of Death' are all stunning.First come 'Face In The Sand' - a stately, kick-drum powered waltz with a dash of orchestral elegence. Then 'Age Of Innocence' delivers the album's most gripping affecting melody, allied to a crafty, world-weary lyric.
'Journeyman' brings the album to a close with sweeping strings, understated dynamics and another chorus to die for.

It's all stupendous stuff and concrete proof that Maiden are as electrifying and important as they have been in a long time. Ten years ago, it was unthinkable that they could make more albums of this quality. This is their second out-and-out belter in a row.Long may they reign.

Is there anyone not excited now?

Absolutely.Cannot.Wait.

Pada September 1st, single Wildest Dream akan dilancar di UK. Format2 dia ialah -
CD Single
1. Wildest Dreams
2. Pass The Jam
3. Blood Brothers (Orchestral Mix).

DVD Single
1. Wildest Dreams
(PROMO VIDEO - 5.1 and PCM stereo)
2. The Nomad (Rock Mix)
3. Blood Brother (Rock Mix)

7' Coloured Vinyl
A. Wildest Dreams
B. Pass The Jam
