In Tel Aviv, Israel, an Iranian missile attack damaged the US diplomatic mission building, Ambassador Mike Huckabee reported on X on June 16.

A missile landed near the American diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv, and no employees were injured.“The U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Israel remain officially closed today as a shelter-in-place order continues,” Huckabee said.

Footage of the aftermath of the rocket strike near the building was posted online, showing broken windows.

The U.S. Embassy was previously located at this site before Washington moved its main office to Jerusalem in 2018, formally recognizing the city as Israel’s capital. The U.S. consulate and diplomatic mission continue to operate in Tel Aviv.

On the night of June 16, Iran launched a new attack on Israel, killing five people and wounding 92. In Petah Tikva, one of the missiles struck a house. Tel Aviv and the port city of Haifa were also hit.

Reuters reported damage to hotels and homes within a few hundred meters of the U.S. Embassy.

Iran had previously fired missiles at Israel on June 13 and 15.

On June 13, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the launch of a large-scale military operation, Operation Lion, aimed at targeting Iran's nuclear infrastructure, ballistic missile facilities and other military sites.

Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on Iran, dropping more than 330 warheads. Iran said 78 people were killed, including about 20 military commanders.

Kenapalah Iran tak nak hentam sekali gus. Dah alang2 siram peluru, kasi kuyup sepatutnya. Baru merea tau betapa azabnya penempatan kena bom. Kemusnahan terjadi kat Israel tu tak seberapa dgn kemusnahan dn kematian di Palestine.

Teruk Israel kena tapi tak dibenarkan ambil gambar serangan, jumlah kematian belah Israel pun diorang tak bagi data yang betul.

Katanya ramai orang Israel nak keluar dari Israel tapi airport dah tak beroperasi...nak pergi Lebanon dan Jordan pun tak boleh, ibarat serah tengkuk.
