PAS man to defend Tumpat seat on BN ticket

PETALING JAYA: PAS’ former Tumpat MP Che Abdullah Mat Nawi will defend his parliamentary seat on a Barisan Nasional ticket in the coming general election (GE15), after being dropped by his own party.
According to Berita Harian, Kelantan BN chief Ahmad Jazlan Yaakub confirmed that the coalition had made way for Che Abdullah as he was considered a “winnable candidate”.
“Che Abdullah will contest under the BN ticket in Tumpat. We felt relieved after he accepted our offer,” Ahmad Jazlan said.
Yesterday, PAS dropped Che Abdullah as a GE15 candidate, replacing him with Mumtaz Md Nawi for the Tumpat seat. |
