George Hu is an American-born actor and singer based in Taiwan. He speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien. Since 2011, he has been signed to Yang Deng-kui's management company Polyland International Entertainment.
George Hu was born and raised in New York City, New York on July 24, 1982 to parents of Taiwanese descent. Eldest of a 2 children family, he has a sister younger by 2 years, mother and father who all currently still reside in New York. At age 7 he began training in Chinese martial arts.[2] His mother who had martial arts training herself was a huge influence on him learning martial arts.[3] He studied under Master Marlon Ma at NY Wutang Chinese Martial Arts Institute where he learned the fighting style of the long fist, praying mantis, and baji. He participated in several martial arts competitions in the US and has won several competitions such as 1995 S. Henry Cho America Open, Shi Fu Yang Shu-Ton Martial Arts Association of Ohio Chinese Martial Arts Tournament, Huang Chien Liang U.S.C.K.F, and Wushu Kung Fu Federation. At age 17 he was appointed as an instructor at Wutang.[4] He attended St. John's University located in Queens, New York, graduating in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in Computer Graphic Design. While visiting family and friends in Taiwan after graduating from college he was scouted and asked to audition for a talent agency due to his boyish good looks and 5' 11" (180 cm) height.[5] Besides martial arts, he also enjoys playing the viola and electric guitar.
George Hu has also just announced his engagement with a Taiwanese actress Annie Chen (Jan 13, 2022).

Annie Chen is a Taiwanese actress and model.
She was the first person to win at the Kaiwo Phantasy Star Catwalk Girl modelling contest in 2007. A year later, she made her acting debut in Prince + Princess 2, playing the lead role Zhao Ke Rou.
Annie Chen was born on April 28, 1989, in Taichung, Taiwan. She is an only child. Chen has stated in interviews that she was conceived through in vitro fertilization because her parents had a difficult time conceiving a child naturally.[4] Her father owned a wholesale frozen poultry business in Taichung that went bankrupt in 2010 due to the bird flu virus outbreak that year in Taiwan. She attended Viator Catholic High School (衛道中學) during her junior high school, and graduated her secondary studies in Shin Min High School (新民高中). She took Finance at the Kainan University, in which she began to work during her senior year. She, then, moved to the Hsing Wu University of Science and Technology, Department of Finance, where she applied for leave because of her work.

Chris Wang or Wang You-sheng (Chinese: 宥勝; pinyin: You Sheng; born 9 June 1982) is a Taiwanese actor, model, singer and writer. He previously went by the stage name Wang Yu-xiang (王郁翔). He got his start in show business when hosting the popular Taiwanese travel show The King of Adventure.
Chris Wang is a Taiwanese actor and TV host. He attended New Taipei Municipal Yong-Ping High School. He has a degree in finance from National Central University. During college, he took a job in Australia for the summer and biked across the desert. After he returned to Taiwan, he saw the international-travel show "The King of Adventure" was looking for a new host, and recommended himself at the show's blog site. The show's producers were impressed by him and he became the show's fourth host in 2008. When Chris had first seen the show on TV a few years before, he had shouted at his friends that he wanted to host the show someday.
He started acting in TV drama series with a role in "Lucky Days: Second Time Around", 2010's "I Love You" and then "P.S. Man". His fame rose as one of the male leads on the record-setting drama, in 2010 "The Fierce Wife", and its movie sequel, 2012 "The Fierce Wife Final Episode". He followed up with leading roles in shows such as 2011's "They Are Flying", "Inborn Pair", and 2012 "Love Me or Leave Me".
Aside from winning awards for hosting The King of Adventure, his success in dramatic roles has proven him to be a rising actor with great potential and international appeal. Chris has also released a music album in 2013 and published several books.

Kamal Haasan (born 7 November 1954)[5] is an Indian actor, director, dancer, writer, lyricist, playback singer,choreographer and politician. He primarily works in Tamil films and has also worked in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, and Bengali films. His production company, Raaj Kamal Films International, has produced several of his films. Haasan's contributions to film have been praised by his contemporaries across the Indian film industry, and he has been recognised as an influence for actors and filmmakers in the Tamil film industry. He has won four National Film Awards and 20 Filmfare Awards. He was awarded the Kalaimamani award in 1984 the Padma Shri in 1990, the Padma Bhushan in 2014 and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Chevalier) in 2016.[6] He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at 15th Mumbai International Film Festival in 2013.

Shruti Haasan (born 28 January 1986) is an Indian actress and playback singer who works predominantly in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi language films. Born in the Haasan family, she is the daughter of actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika Thakur.
As a child artist, Haasan sang in films and appeared in a guest role in her father's directorial Hey Ram (2000), before making her adult acting debut in the 2009 Bollywood film Luck. Tamanna Bhatia (born 21 December 1989), known professionally as Tamannaah, is an Indian actress who appears primarily in Telugu and Tamil films, along with Hindi films. In addition to acting, she also participates in stage shows and is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products.[1]

In 2005, she made her acting debut at the age of 15 in the Hindi film Chand Sa Roshan Chehra and appeared in the Abhijeet Sawant album song "Lafzon main" from the album Aapka Abhijeet, which was also released in 2005, before working in Telugu cinema and Tamil cinema. Liu Shishi (Chinese: 刘诗诗; pinyin: Liú Shīshī; born 10 March 1987), also known as Cecilia Liu, is a Chinese actress best known for portraying Long Kui in the television series Chinese Paladin 3 and Ruoxi in the Chinese time-travel drama Scarlet Heart and Imperial Doctress. She is also known as one of the New Four Dan Actresses.

2005–2010: Beginnings and Rising popularity[edit]
Having been trained in ballet at the Beijing Dance Academy, Liu Shishi made her acting debut in the television drama series The Moon and the Wind (2005). She included a segment of Swan Lake in one of her scenes.[1] She then starred in wuxia drama The Young Warriors (2006) and shenmo television series The Fairies of Liaozhai (2007).[2][3]
In 2007, Liu graduated from Beijing Dance Academy and was signed on by Tangren Media, successfully making her transition from a dancer to an actress. She then starred as Mu Nianci in the wuxia drama The Legend of the Condor Heroes (2008), which gained her more recognition.[4][5]

She starred alongside Wallace Huo in period action drama The Vigilantes In Masks, which received positive reviews and led to increased popularity for Liu.[8] She then played the female protagonist, Ruoxi in the time travel historical romance series, Scarlet Heart, based on the novel Bu Bu Jing Xin by Tong Hua.[9] Scarlet Heart became a major sleeper hit in China, and swiftly gained popularity across East Asia. 2013–present: Mainstream popularity[edit]
In 2013, Liu starred in action comedy Badges of Fury alongside Jet Li.[19][20] She then starred in wuxia film Brotherhood of Blades,[21] alongside Taiwanese actor Chang Chen, which received critical acclaim.[22] Liu was nominated for Best Actress at the China Film Directors' Guild Awards for her performance.[23]
In 2014, Liu returned to the small screen with historical romance drama Sound of the Desert, based on the novel Ballad of the Desert written by Tong Hua.[24] The series topped television and web ratings domestically, and was also well-received overseas.[25] Liu then starred in romance film Five Minutes to Tomorrow playing dual roles.[26] She and co-stars Haruma Miura and Joseph Chang attended the 19th Busan International Film Festival for the premiere of the film, where she received the Asia Star Award.[27]

In 2017, Liu starred along veteran actors Wang Qianyuan and Cao Bingkun in the spy drama, The Battle at Dawn; produced by the Ministry of Public Security.[30] The same year, she played a young single mother in romance melodrama Angelo alongside Ming Dao.[31] Liu then starred in historical fantasy drama Lost Love in Times alongside William Chan,[32] as well as the crime suspense film The Liquidator where she played a palaeoichnology expert.[33]

Nicholas Wu Qilong (born 31 October 1970) is a Taiwanese singer and actor. He found fame in 1988 when he became a member of the popular Taiwanese band, Xiao Hu Dui (Little Tiger Team), performing alongside Alec Su and Julian Chen. The trio were extremely successful in Taiwan, selling over 15 million albums. During his time with Little Tigers Team, he pursued a solo career, releasing an extensive catalogue of songs, Mandarin and Cantonese albums as a solo artist when member Julian Chen left the group to serve compulsory military service. Wu released his debut solo album in 1992.
After the break-up of the Little Tigers Team in 1995, Wu continued his solo career and embarked on a career in acting. Since then, his career has expanded into film and television in Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China.

In 1988, Wu was spotted by an entertainment agent, and after an audition he was chosen to be part of the 小虎隊 (Little Tigers Team) and given the nickname of "Pilihu" (霹靂虎; Thunderbolt Tiger). The group quickly became successful throughout Asia but disbanded due to one member's compulsory military service requirement. Wu continued solo, and began singing and acting in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
In five years, he released 13 Mandarin and Cantonese albums. As an actor, Wu won the 1993 Best New Artist award in Hong Kong, and the next year played the lead in the 1994 film The Lovers, his greatest commercial success. In February 1997, Wu went into the army to complete his military service.[1] He returned to the entertainment industry in late 1998.
Just around the new millennium, with the broadcast of television series such as At the Threshold of an Era, Treasure Venture and Treasure Raiders, Wu achieved fame in the television industry. Since then, he has been working consistently in both film and television.
In February 2010, Wu and the other members of Little Tigers Team reunited to perform during the Chinese New Year. In late 2011, Wu acted in the television series Scarlet Heart, which was a huge hit in China.

In 2020, Yifei became known to international audiences for starring as the titular character in the Disney live-action film Mulan.[9] The role earned her nominations for a Critics' Choice Super Award, a Kids' Choice Award and a Saturn Award.

2003–2006; Rising popularity[edit]
Immediately after her admittance into the Beijing Film Academy, Liu received offers to star in various television series. Her first television appearance in 2003 was in the period romance drama The Story of a Noble Family (金粉世家), based on Zhang Henshui's novel of the same name.[15] The series achieved the highest ratings on CCTV, and positive reviews from audience.[16][17] The same year, she was chosen by Zhang Jizhong to play Wang Yuyan in Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils, an adaptation of Louis Cha's wuxia novel of the same title.[18] The series was broadcast in Taiwan and achieved a rating of 5.69, becoming the highest-rated Chinese drama in Taiwan.[19] Liu's role as the beautiful Wang Yuyan earned her the nickname of "Fairy Sister" by the media and fans.[8]

2008–2013; Transition to films[edit]
After achieving success in television, Liu then ventured onto the big screen. 2014–present; International collaborations and television comeback[edit]
In 2014, Liu collaborated with Korean actor-singer Rain for the romance film For Love or Money, based on Hong Kong novelist Amy Cheung's 2006 novel of the same name. Though it did reasonably well at the box office, the film was criticized for its storyline and production.[30]
Liu starred in The Third Way of Love (2015) Her performance in the film led to her win for the Most Anticipated Actress award at the 16th Chinese Film Media Awards.[31] The same year, she was named the first Chinese ambassador of Dior Prestige[32] and became the global ambassador of Tissot.[33]

In 2017, Liu starred in romantic fantasy film Once Upon a Time by award-winning director Anthony LaMolinara and Zhao Xiaoding.[37] She also starred in the historical film The Chinese Widow directed by Bille August.[38] The film premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival as the opening film, and Liu was nominated as Best Actress.[39] The same year, Liu reunited with White Vengeance co-star Feng Shaofeng in the fantasy comedy film Hanson and the Beast.[40]
