 Tangkap layar CCTV memaparkan seorang penunggang motosikal yang dilanggar treler di sebuah stesen minyak di Bandar Sultan Suleiman, dekat sini hari ini.

KLANG – Seorang lelaki nyaris maut apabila dilanggar sebuah treler ketika sedang mengisi angin tayar motosikalnya di sebuah stesen minyak di Bandar Sultan Suleiman, dekat sini hari ini.
Dalam kejadian kira-kira pukul 8.30 pagi, mangsa yang berusia 29 tahun berasal dari Grik, Perak itu mengalami luka di tangan serta sakit di bahagian kaki dan badan.
Ketua Polis Daerah Klang Utara, Asisten Komisioner S. Vijaya Rao berkata, kejadian dikatakan berlaku ketika treler dipandu wanita berusia 35 tahun sedang membuat pusingan U di dalam kawasan stesen minyak berkenaan.
Katanya, mangsa yang sedang mengisi angin tayar motosikalnya jenis Honda RS150 kemudian dilanggar treler tersebut.
“Akibat pelanggaran tersebut, penunggang motosikal itu telah tertolak ke kiri dan hampir tergilis.
“Berdasarkan siasatan awal mendapati pemandu wanita itu mempunyai lesen E bagi membawa jentera berat,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Jelas beliau, pihaknya telah menerima laporan daripada pemandu treler tersebut manakala belum lagi daripada mangsa yang masih dirawat di sebuah hospital swasta.
“Siasatan lanjut masih dijalankan bagi mengenal pasti punca sebenar kejadian,” ujarnya.

The driver noticed the bike but probably not the rider who was squatting when she started to move.....
As she made the turn ...she was sure she would have cleared the bike, which she would have, but obviously as she got nearer, the rider became unsighted...blind spot...
As for the rider....aku selalu ingatkheun anak jiran aku yg 3 tahun iteww...that he must always be aware,mindful or be able to see his surroundings...his front view especially...in wahatever things he is doing, when there are traffics involve....so he is able to react accordingly in the event of emergency...
My take on this?...that the driver has no excuse...while the rider should have taken the safety precautions to avoid such incident....

Initially driver might noticed the bike but she missed the motorcyclist squatted right next to it
She almost cleared the bike, which she could have, unfortunately the poor motorist disappeared into her blind spot and completely unsighted
As for the rider....aku selalu ingatkheun anak jiran aku yg 3 tahun iteww...that he should always be aware, mindful and navigate his surroundings most especially on the frontal view at any given situation, and most certainly where there is traffic involved. So he is able to compute incoming risks and aptly respond in the event of emergency
