Synopsis
“The Silent Sea” is set on Earth in 2075, which has been desertified and drained of its natural resources. A special team is tasked with a secret mission on the abandoned research station on the moon, which is referred to as “the silent sea.”
Notes
The series is an adaptation from the 2014 short film "The Sea of Tranquility" written and directed by the Choi Hang-yong who will also direct the series with Jung Woo-sung standing in as the executive producer.
Cast
Bae Doona stars as Song Ji Ahn, a space biologist. She has a cold, straightforward personality, and she joins the expedition to dig into a secret that has been bothering her.
Gong Yoo takes the role of Han Yoon Jae, the team leader who doesn’t hesitate to sacrifice himself when there’s trouble. His number one priority is the safety of his crew members, and he always stands at the forefront of missions, no matter how difficult and uncertain they may be.
Lee Joon plays Ryu Tae Seok, a senior engineer who volunteers for a life-threatening mission. With his outstanding ability to perform missions, he gains the trust of Han Yoon Jae.
Kim Sun Young plays Hong Ga Young, the team physician who joins the expedition to fulfill her duty as a doctor.
Lee Moo Saeng plays Gong Soo Hyuk, a solid soldier who is also the head of security.

Baru tgk 4 episod…pasal misi ke bulan utk cari sumber air bersih…citer ni setup in a dystopian future masa bumi dah tercemar sampai x cukup air…kena catu ikut social class…but it is not as smooth as it should be sebab bila dah sampai stesen kat bulan tu mcm2 jadi…and as usual ada antara diorg tu yg ada agenda lain…as of episode 4 ada 3 org team member yg dah mati…
Kalau minat tgk citer pasal angkasa ni rasa bestlah tapi kalau x minat akan rasa boring…for me iols tgk sebab ada unsur misteri tu, nak tau apa yg jadi kat stesen tu…

Dah abis tgk…sebagaimana tajuknya citer ni ‘silent’ walaupun genre scifi thriller…sangat senyap, dialog dilontarkan dgn sgt tenang, xde jerit2…dari perspektif peminat citer scifi, dari segi suspense tu mcm agak predictable…luna 073 terhasil utk tujuan eksperimen, mcm dlm citer Stranger Things…so for me citer ni agak underwhelming walaupun ada nama besar dlm ni…tapi walau apa pun usaha tu patut diberi pujian sebab berani keluar drpd comfort zone drama2 korea lain…obviously citer ni dibuat utk tontonan global…
side note : citer xde apply2 filter kat muka para pelakon, so segala ketidaksempurnaan tu nmpk jelas xde fake punya…jgn terkejut pulak tiba2 tgk gong yoo nmpk tua dlm ni…itulah rupa sebenar dia
Misi mencari air...
Pada iols best series ni... sebab ada misteri tu... tapi kesian la tengok astronaut tu sorang2 mati... cuma 2 orang tu je iols tak kesian sebab betray...
Daebak tengok set shooting series ni... macam real jer...

Kalau ikut pemahaman iols anggap Captain Han tak mati... sebab iols tengok dia hidup lagi kat luar Balhae station... Luna jumpa dia... tak tau la macam mana dia boleh terselamat... tapi kalau Captain Han infected pun iols rasa Luna selamatkan dia... macam apa jadi kat Dr Song... lepastu rescue ship selamatkan astronaut yang survive tu...

Tapi series ni a bit slow sikit... kalau yang tak suka memang boring la... iols okay je sebab iols suka every episode tu tunjuk details related dengan title tu... plus citer ni genre misteri...
