Part 1: "I want to become the second (generation) Ha Ji-won"
"Originally,I had an interest in designing, so I was thinking about taking thatpath. But one day, I considered an acquaintance's suggestion that Itake up acting, and in my third year of high school, I took the firststep by appearing in a Chocolate Pie advertisement."
She playsgolf and does fencing. She has been skiing for over 10 years ever sinceshe was in elementary school, and is said to have a talent for it.
"[Mypersonality] is closer to that of an Amazon than of a princess. I'mstubborn, and there are more instances of me being fiery than not. Ofcourse, when I watching [my performance] on TV with my family, I feelawkward and become embarrassed, but as I film in Empress Chun Chu, I think I'm becoming less affected."
"Ilike Ha Ji-won sunbae. Whenever I see her preparing for her work, itseems like she plays a variety of different roles smoothly andbelievably. I want to become an actress who can show that clearly. As Iwork hard and challenge myself, I want to make a living as a flexibleactress.*" (*literal translation: actress of many colors)
"Iwish that when people see me, they will think that I have my own meritsas Kim So-eun and that I'm an actress who works hard more thananything. Rather than being told that I'm pretty, I would rather hearmore about my acting skills."
Part 2: "I don't see any member of the F4 as my ideal guy."
"I don't think I've experienced love before. And I haven't [romantically] loved someone before. As I film for Boys Before Flowers, I think I'll probably learn about what that is."
Whenasked about if she saw her ideal guy in any of F4, Kim So-eunresponded: "I don't think [my ideal guy] exists among the F4[characters]. I like a person who is very considerate of others'feelings better than a good-looking flower boy."
Kim Bum andKim So-eun are friends who were in contact early on during their timein the film and theater department of Chung-Ang University's media andperformance art school. "But then Bum was busy with East of Eden after Unstoppable High Kickat the same time I had a very tight schedule preparing for two dramas,so recently, we haven't been able to keep in touch. At this point, allwe've really been able to do is sometimes see each other on the set. Asthe story goes on, we'll probably be able to see each other moreoften." Acting as a character who falls in love with Kim Bum's makesher feel embarrassed, because she just thinks of him as a friend, anddoesn't think she'll become comfortable with the idea.
She played Yun Jun-seo's sister in Someone behind you. The movie sucks but she was good.

ActressKim So-eun is currently pulling double duty with roles in two differentKBS productions: On Mondays and Tuesdays, she抯 the sassy best friendin the trendy drama Boys Before Flowers, and on weekends she plays thechildhood counterpart to Chae Shi-ra抯 grown-up warrior leader inhistorical series Empress Cheon-chu.
The latter has given herthe nickname 揕ittle Chae Shi-ra,
some other pics of filming..when Yi Jung drags Ga Eul from the restaurant.. wonder which episodethis scene is in? and how can they film with all those ppl surroundingthem? dont they get in the shot? must need a lot of editing or they askthem to move?
