disebabkan takde orgstart, tuan rumah start dulu.

Jacqueline ialah ex wife kepada Raja Bahrin, berasal dari Australia dan perkahwinan mereka menghasilkan 1 putera dan 1 puteri, Iddin & Shahirah.
my exposure on this book was triggered when i read Raja Bahrin's book long2 time ago. although i forgot much but i can still remember Bahrin's hardship ordeal to 'bring back' his kids to Malaysia to be raised with his family.
even so, the 'bring back' ordeal was deemed a kidnap by Jacqueline, due to the fact that she won the custody to raise the children in Australia and Bahrin took them during one of his allowed acces to the children.
since then her life wasnt the same and she kept being of her children constantly...
indeed a sad sad life for a mum to lose BOTH of her child, and never to hear a word from them until 14 years later.

i felt both sad and anger for these stories, and both sides because i wonder how these kind of books could change a person's mind when reading it. since it is a memoir, it is always regarded as truth.
my sceptical mind read both books with care, scrutinizing each sentences till its deviod of its context and reflect of what it actually portray to people of normal perspective.

when i read bahrin's book, it came across as a book that defended jihad, a holy battle with pure intention, hence could spark hatred in those who sided with him or at least share the same view.
when i read jacqueline's book, it was just a pure melodramic expression of her heart, telling people that she was abused and had her children taken away from her. the fact that put me down was she was potent and insist on telling the same drama over and over again. its not that i am against her, but perhaps my young heart and mind couldnt comprehend her undying love and affections towards her offsprings. some people can say "oh jack, move on". well, i almost put down the book and said that but wait a minute, she actually bore these children and they were a part of her. they lived with her for the most part of their childhood before taken away by Bahrin. i'd go crazy if the same thing happened to me!

selagi bel tak tahu kisah sebenar about the two of them, ssh rasanya nak percaya strory masing2. kenapa mereka cerai, kenapa dia balik ke sana, kenapa ex laki nak amik anak semula...sume tu ssh nak digest kalau kita tak tahu kisah benar which is bel rasa hanya mereka yang tahu...esp bila libatkan agama....lebih sukar
