JK's Digest No. 10 of November 2007 (316 of 2007) Hairy to stop Bersih rally

After I posted JK's Digest No. 9 of November 2007 (315 of 2007) Press Releases aka JK's Digest, I receive some responses like old issue of worry of legal suits against the newspapers which publish press release without editing.

I can understand that but I did once with Daily Express where I inserted an advert worth over RM300 and signed an idemnity letter. That advert was about the RM5 billions Water Malaise in March 2004.

Should I not be rewarded for that now in 2007?

A lot of red herring out of fear make society go backward rather than go WISE, WILD and
WIDE with truth.

When Khairy wants Bersih rally stopped (see story below), UMNO wants to play dirty only and such dramas are all published in newspapers. So consumers can sue the newspapers or not?
I believe this is the first times most newspapers publish the Murderer's Sword when the Bugis DPM talks of obscene thing like the penis, and are these items seditious, obscene, sensitive and ridicule the people? Who want to lodge Police Report on the murderer's Sword? Can the murderer sue the newspapers for published something held in private forums barred from the press?
So I hope the press would publish CASH's items fully to alert the major items of consumerism including the SESB's frauds and the CASHorder on the Official Representatives Diligence Exit Report to the full.

Thanks,

"This is an illegal gathering by an illegal organisation. The authorities, particularly the police, must apprehend those who organise this gathering," said Khairy, during his winding-up speech at the Umno Youth annual general assembly today.

Umno committed to strengthening Islam
Nov 7, 07 1:22pm Adjust font size:

Umno president and Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today said that his party was committed to strengthening Islam and will not apologise for doing so.

However he quickly added that Umno would not endorse a narrow interpretation of Islam, pledging that everyone in Umno would show exemplary behaviour by respecting the followers of other religions and their needs.

Police report against PM lodged

Updates 7pm
"I have proof". Johari Ismail, 49, came out of the Dang Wangi police station at 6.15pm. He said it took nearly two hours as the cops had to call back the officer-in-charge (who was on duty at the PWTC, where Pak Lah is expected to deliver the Umno presidential address tomorrow) to deal with the report against the Umno President.

Johari said he is backed by no one and no Umno leader had asked him to lodge the report.

"I'm doing this as a concerned Umno member," said Johari, who is an Umno branch exco member (Kg Tahang Rimau, Segamat, Johor). "I am concerned about the erosion within Umno."

Johari also told the press conference, "I have proof" that a political crime had been committed by Pak Lah (against Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the former PM) during an Umno Supreme Council meeting of 28 August 2006, and is prepared to face the consequences of his action.
