Leaking Parliament House

JK's Digest No. 1 of September 2007 (248 of 2007) Samy Vellu and his BN gang has lost value

If you read the latest article below, you will know that the leaking Parliament House (PH) is not 50 (previously said by SV) but 40 years old. I was wandering how it was possible that the PH was built in 1957?

So while the PH is symbolic of the laws making, when it is leaking despite so much money had been incurred it is sending the apt messages as follows:-
1) If the garbage is really causing the leakage, then Sabah was also dumped with the Peninsular people into Sabah via the migration fund board which failed. Then the Government decided to allow the refugees and the illegals to be sort of legalised in Sabah via dubious means ultra vires the Federal Constitution while the PH is 'criminally' quiet.

2) When the PH is leaking, it only goes to show that the laws that had been made and the amendments done on the original Federal Constitution via PH are unjust hence the leak due to garbage is symbolic of the what it would reap for what it sows with the suffering on the people of Sabah as per Malaysia Agreement as violated.

3) Whether NEP went through the PH or not, I am not so sure, but when NEP had been leaking due to greed of the powerful people (the 'never satisfied' thiefs are saying the implementation of NEP is lacking hence to be continued forever), those people had been stealing from the poor and the resources of Sabah, hence PH is leaking to convey a timely message as injustice for all people even after 50 years.

4) The roof had been leaking in repetition in the 50th year to convey another issue (despite expensive repairs) is like unless the old bias system is done away with now, the leaking (social ills) in our society is irreparable. If we cannot repair the roof - a massive futile effort - except lots of talks in Parliament, then we need to scrap the -not so old building - to build a new one symbolic of a new system in Malaysia.

5) Like Lai Yok Sham's left arm had to severed due to misadministered treatment or injection around Merdeka day 2007, it is timely that when the Parliament fails the nation, we need to cut off the Merdeka symbol in the PH. Actually the PH is housing an illegal Goverment due to the electoral frauds in the proven GE2004 (state by state analysis to be done) http://malaysian-elections-2004.blogspot.com/, and so we need to remove the flawed Federal Government and the cabinets (Federal & State) as soon as possible. I am very surprised that illegal UMNO Government decides to hold the Convention on Integrity in Putra International Convention Center (PICCC) possibly to piss themselves off as what have they got to say when "the massive leaking" or "daylight robberies" had been going on with trillions of Ringgit gone? Coincidentally, Can you see another message of the 5 hours operations also the leaking of blood as much blood money had been diverted into private bank accounts for 22 years?

6) Earlier it was leaking in the Dewan Rakyat hall and now in the press rooms. Don't you see that the mainstream press had been failures in Malaysia in socalled 'self regulatory' roles? They need to search their conscience and only the leaks would make them wake up. When the press room is leaking, the reporters must now leak or expose what they have been unable to report due to OSA, ISA, Police Act, Publishing & Printing Act, and whatever questionable laws. The mainstream is sort of faced with 'leaks' as the blogs has been vocal in many unreported true issues as the readers would compare these avenues in the context of transparency and justice.

7) Finally not the least is that it is coming out from the PH itself as we are no longer SAFE in Malaysia when Security, Accountability, Fairness and Equality (SAFE) are concerned even in the 50th/44th year. It is coming out first when the DAP exposed it to the world. Now their own BN members are doing it loud and clear. If the PH is not SAFE, then we need a new one as we do not know what is to happen next? If Malaysia is not SAFE, then how do we deal with that? When the Malaysia Agreement had been exposed now with massive violations, what do we do now? I was warned by a former AG (also a friend) that I must not mention the 20 points as it was a seditious/OSA issue. How can that be when 20 points were incorporated in the Malaysia Agreement - a public document? Now MA is exposed like the leaks in PH, who is hiding what? Now the Hindu Action Rights Force http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/71882 in UK gov抰 sued over 憃ppression' for Two billions pound sterling (still insignificant), like what I do to International Criminal Court for at least RM40 billions, the leaks are going to be eternal unless we make good the sacred promises.

Your conscience takes over now, if you want to circulate this message.

Garbage Caused Leakage At Parliament Building, Says Samy Vellu
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 6 (Bernama) -- The Parliament building leaked because discarded construction materials on the roof damaged the water proofing, the Dewan Rakyat was told Thursday.

Works Minister Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu said this was the ministry's finding after conducting a thorough inspection of the 40-year-old building.

"The water proofing was sufficient, but it became dirty because of the garbage and all kinds of construction materials like pieces of wood and cement left behind on the roof and this caused the water proofing to be damaged and the roof to leak," he said in reply to a supplementary question from Dr Wee Ka Siong (BN-Ayer Hitam).

Dr Wee wanted to know the action to be taken against the contractors who were negligent in their work and had caused the structural damage to the building.

The leakage at Parliament building during the rainy season recently was widely reported in the media. In the latest incident, water seeped into the press room two days ago.

In lighter vein, Samy Vellu said he would put up a notice board on the roof with a warning not to throw rubbish there.

"If no one tampers with the water proofing, it won't leak. I'm not accusing anyone but rubbish was strewn all over. It's better for me to invite the MPs to have a look. If you want, I can show you the plan and explain how the damage occurred," he said.

Earlier, he said that to prevent leakage at government buildings, the Public Works Department (PWD) had stepped up monitoring and supervision on construction work to ensure that the contractors did the job according to the specifications.

He said the department would also inspect government buildings more frequently and conduct a survey on the clients' satisfaction.

To avoid poor design and construction of infrastructure or government buildings, he said, the PWD had already enlisted its maintenance officers to join the project teams who would give input on the maintenance aspect of the designs.

"This will enable the infrastructures and buildings to take into account the comfort of the occupants as well as the maintenance aspect," he said.
