dear parents...
do u guys mind if your child suke sgt impersonate artis? atau pon idolize artis? for example kan, mcm yg kite slalu tgk kt tom tom bak tu... last few weeks ade sorang girl (yg sgt canteks...) wat the impersonation o bwg merah. i think it was acceptable la... then ade sorang yg wat the impersonation o inul, mak aiiii... geleknye... ngeri gak i tgk...  tis week plak there was tis one boy wat inpersonation o bandi fr amuk, nyanyi rock abissss...
so wat di u guys think? if u approve o it, where do u set the limit? being a parent, i kalu bleh x mau xpose my kids 2 such elements that early... neither will i encourage them... tp that's my personal views la...
yup, ade jugak +ve outcome bile kids idolize artistes ni... they wud hav a better sense o style, they wud mature early & even hav high self-esteem... u know, bkn sng nk naik stage & perform camtu kan... i myself wud get cold feet...

yup... gorg pun ada tertengok show tu...
mmg meremang ...tengok lenggok gaya Inol tu....
personally gorg tak setuju..
anak tengok show tu pun gorg suruh tukar channel...
mmg gorg tak galakan anak tengok program nyanyian atau yg ada undian sms
tmasuklah AF...
mmg bukan senang nak naik stage n perform... tp apa faedah naik stage utk tu...
lain la naik stage terima award..best student ke...best debater ke...
mmg dunia akhir zmn ni kita duk agung2kan hiburan dan artis.... |

the show itself (TTB) is ok... kids wud love it... aznil has done a gud job, die pandai tackle bdk2 & bakat2 yg derang ketengahkn tu mostly agak menarik... cuma ade certain bakat yg bleh mendtgkan concern di hati parents...
but the thing wit aznil is, he tends 2 steal the limelight fr the kids la... spoil tang tu...  |

thing is..... my sons mmg tak diberi peluang tgk cerita macam tu coz im strict when it comes to what they watch on TV. the only 3 channels yg i bagi tgk are: Nick Jnr, Playhouse Disney and ABC Kids..... and ocassionally when i watch my FRIENDS on DVD
so the only persons they do impersonate are the characters from Wiggles or Hi-Five or UpsideDown Show or ABC Playschool or Thomas or BRUM.... etc.... |

actually TTB is a prog 4 kids pon... like i said earlier, the prog itself is gud, kids love it... even me & hubby pon look 4ward 2 TTB... 
yup... me too... tho i'm not as strict as u are, tp wenever dhani's around mmg tabahkn ati dok lyn ceria (astro) or playhs disney je la... or his teletubbies / cartoons vcds... huhu...
the thing is, bile die tinggal ngan along die, si along ni plak dok ajar die lyn mtv / v channel, E!... & know wat, as i was browsing thru the channels, tib2 dhani nk tgk tis one indon drama 'anak ajaib'... rupenye along die dok ajar die tgk cite tu  geram btul!!!

saya pun setuju macam gorg..
while i want my children to have high self esteem & confidence, biarlah mereka naik stage atas sebab2
yang akan buat saya rasa bangga, & of course bukan dengan babitkan diri dalam dunia hiburan, it is a big NO-NO.
and memang saya tak bagi anak2 tengok channels yang ada muda mudi terkinja2 atas pentas cth nya AF (well, mommy pun tak pernah tgk AF).
and like anak spid, mine loves to impersonate the wiggles too. |

nak mencungkil bakat tuh ok..but biler ada unsur2 keterlaluan tuh..nih buat haku tak lalu n tak sanggup nak ngk..tkt anak jdk confused....ok kita ngk plak rancangan or realiti malaysian kids sendiri...malu2 n nampak agak kurang keyakinan diri...jika kita hanya builds their esteem through singing jek..what about other aspects..such as coming out with great n constructive idea, good personality n good communication skills...are malaysian producers are not creative enuf to produce such programs for kids?asik2 nyanyi jek..aku tkt malaysian kids pandang profesyen nyanyi le paling best atas dunia nih.. |

A mother pernah kata i kolot (behind my back) bec i tak kasi anak i tgk AF...... (sesekali ok la but not on school night or a month before exams) but then my kids tak minat pun.... the last final concert they saw was masa mawi tu. Pastu haram taknak tgk Af..... |

Tom tom Bak? Tak suka tengok dan tak rasa anak-anak will benefit from it. Sebab tengok pakaian budak perempuan semuanya tak cukup kain tetapi budak lelaki pakai tutup habis. Very Hollywood like punya dressing. Kesian budak perempuan kecik-kecik kena exploit. Sorry to say this.
Self esteem? By impersonating artist does not necessarily exude high self esteem. Suka tengok anak-anak yang berani naik stage to represent diri dia sendiri...story telling, choral speaking, role play, deklamasi sajak, traditional dance, tilawah, teater, achievement in sports jugak. High self esteem dgn jati diri yang tinggi. |
