JK's Digest No. 12 of July 2007 (191 of 2007) "Hard to believe" Harris Salleh (Khan?)

It is hard to believe that any one can drop the surname (true or not?) in a new land to call home.

It is hard to believe that an ex Chief Minister can be so active to be involved in the politics when
he had been rejected by the people NOT once but several times. WHY?

It is hard to believe that Harris claimed that there is no one genuine local in Sabah including himself and yet he claimed he was born here, not in Pakistan. That is written in the book "Harris Salleh of Sabah". Why Harris Salleh of Sabah?

It is hard to believe that Harris Salleh is the President of Yayasan Islam Sabah to be so active in politics when it is Islam that he should be more concerned, a possibly abuse of the NGO if that is registered?

It is hard to believe that Harris Salleh with a primary five education as he had said so when he challenged a Queen Counsel John Lester over a trial.

It is hard to believe that Harris Salleh that he used some abusive words by calling on "Bukit Padang and Tanjung Rambutan" as quoted in the Daily Express with impunity and without offence. Where did the five hundred come from when the detailed report in the Malaysia Today did not mention the number? Actually gangsterism in Sabah is so widespread but discreet and the number of the mobile gangsters can be any thing up to a few hundred thousands. Even our Mayor Iliyas Ibrahim and a former Commissioner of Police told us of the gangsterism in Sabah as carried out by the foreigners or fake citizens of 1-2 millions. (DE 5th August 2005). Who should then be in Bukit Padang or Bukit Rambutan, when a denial is made?

It is hard to believe that it was Harris Salleh in his influence that the Elections Court hearing on N13 Likas Elections 1999 took place so fast with the landmark results of phantom voters always denied and a by elections ensued and the winner banned for 5 years. Actually, that Landmark Court decision caused TWO by elections - State and Parliament. Tell me my friends, how many Election Court cases had reached that stage in the nation in recent years. Most of those cases were struck off, but NOT for Harris Salleh and Chong En Leong both in the history book of Sabah.

It is hard to believe for many other actions and decision of Harris Salleh - so many to name them and you can do that yourself - also with impunity.

It is hard to believe what is his agenda in his latest outburst over the HFK's report to the IGP on gangsterism already a major part of the Tsunami of Illegals and Illegalities in Sabah.

So if Harris Salleh is sincerely born in Sabah he should be more concerned about this TII possibly an inheritance of Berjaya and his activities in granting genuine identity cards to foreigners as reported to the Police in Project IC or Project Mahathir. HS had expressed similar support in his YIS's Statement.

So when this name of Mahathir is mentioned it brings back a "fond but harsh reality" memory of a promise of "Sink and Swim together" in 1985 with Harris Salleh and Berjaya. But what happened then?

So I leave it to Harris Salleh to recall what Mahathir said about HS when HS tried to come back to power in 1999 when he challenged BN? "Hard to believe" indeed.

I have to express my reservation with this "Hard to believe" in the context of SSY- the real gangster.
