JK's Digest No. 6 of July 2007 (185 of 2007) Sabah is behind internet usage.

Actually Sabah was ahead in ICT back in the 1980s among the states in Malaysia.

There were two pioneers I know who were very active in the ICT.

But somehow Sabah has declined for various reasons and I hope the professional can present
a paper why this is so when other states went ahead of Sabah.

This is based on a Reader writing in Daily Express Sunday 8th July 2007.

For me I can understand as many facilities are blocked by the Internet Service Provider such as tmnet.my.

I cannot use tmnet.my for my outlook express twice already - once I was accused of SPAM when I did not because I have more than 20 yahoo email groups to service. Then I was released despite denial of that. I was only freed after I filled in the ridiculous questions in that anti SPAM form. The form ask questions the Anti Spam does not even know how Internet is utilised.

After a few months of that release, I was blocked again but this time tm.net did not ask me to fill in any form on my complaint. Instead tm.net asked me to do ridiculous process, but later I was told from a dealer that tm.net does not know why their own ISP is also experiencing similar blockage.

So I believe it is the same Anti Spam group together with Microsoft that is blocking my tm.net service.

I miss many mails as I have use tm.net as my first choice connection and email address.
But I could only surf the Net with tm.net for the past seven months - no outlook express mails.
So I can only use jaring which was having connection problems once.

So with this kind of problems, how can we not fall behind others in the usage of Internet as many subscribers with tm.net are experiencing such blockage without explanation.
