Bravo to LHDN

It's very close to being a miracle (to me at least).

This afternoon, the postman delivered an ominous looking brown envelope with the LHDN logo on it.  Whilst wondering what it could be (and with some trepidation) I opened it up to discover a cheque for my 2006 tax return.  

Considering that I had only completed my tax return sometimes in April (a few day before the deadline) and have NOT requested for the return, I was pleasantly surprised to get this in my mail.

Not much.  About 2k.

In the past, I had to apply with forms etc and then it would take 4-6 months before any cheque arrives.
So, not having to apply and simply receiving a cheque in my mail is a great experience indeed.
