A good move in Sabah

JK's Digest No. 20 of March 2007 (46 of 2007) Colonial Political fatigue after WWII - but now a reminiscence.
"
A case for independence of Sabah - pros and cons" - the only positive move now in a book.
1945, 1947, 1957, 1960, 1963 .... when many colonial dominions were set free.
With Malaya/Malaysia in 50 years and 44 years, we are now at the end of a threshold or at the
watershed to some thing new in a second phase into the 21st century as part of LA21.
Now whether we like it or not a lots of frightening things have happened in Malaysia (war-like), and it is like going anarchy with ugly heads of corruption and power abuses resulting in the natural disintegration of the nation already divided into West and East with great disparities.
While it was the intention of the Independence via the Malaysia Agreement (MA) to help the least developed Sabah, the opposite has actually happened with the breaches of the MA since 1963 with the worst scenario in 1965 when the first Chief Minister was sacked for arranging a meeting with Lee Kuan Yew. The scenario got worst with the first elections in April, 1967. The rest is history when the first Chief Minister died from a questioned circumstance in 1976.
Like many sensitive books had been written about national leaders in recent years, eg. 50 reasons why Anwar cannot be Prime Minister, it is timely that Sabahans dedicated to the homeland prepare a book of whatever size to be titled "A case for independence of Sabah - pros and cons". Who want to get involved with this?
Who is the Chief Minister of Sabah to say "I am not bothered", and that is as if Sabah belongs to him ignoring all the systems in place.
Sabah has been manipulated since 1962 and so much damaging developments had been conspired partly the impact of Federalism vis-s-vis Claim and Confrontation with the detriment to Sabah as a run down state in 4 decades.
So it is indeed a positive move to prepare that book "A case for ....". There is a saying - "a new nation cannot come about without bloodshed". In this 21st century, we can avoid that but Sabah has seen enough bloodshed within and without Sabah but not publicised in the mass media proper. You should ask our neighbouring countries who have failed many times to invade or takeover Sabah.

good one as this :-

JK's Digest No. 21 of March 2007 (47 of 2007)- "A case for independence of Sabah - pros and cons"

This is the only positive move now in a book.

What is in your mind when I wrote that earlier?

Lets brainstorm a bit in the 21st Century of globalisation and era of knowledge.

Have we been blinded by some power seen and unseen?

You may think Sabah cannot leave/secede Malaysia?

Who say so? Where is the documentary proof?

Where is the Malaysia Agreement as valid?

Like 20 points were once considered seditious and sensitive,

and that was the deception. If 20 points were incorporated

in a public sort of legal document such as the

Malaysia Agreement signed in 1963, how can that be seditious?

So likewise when the Malaysia Agreement (MA) lapsed when

Singapore left Malaysia, where is the valid Agreement?

Like a business partnership, new agreement would be

needed when a new partner joins or leaves the partnership.

So we had been without a valid MA since 1965 unless

the Malaysian Government can present us with one now.

Is it in the Federal Constitution that Sabah cannot leave

Malaysia when the MA is null and void?

Whatever even marriage meant for life do get divorced - sad.

So when the noble intention of developing Sabah

as a less developed state in 1960s is not fulfilled

as observations are aplenty, then we need to

negotiate peacefully for a better deal or else

separation becomes inevitable.

So Sabah is entitled to compensation of all breaches

of MA and injustice since 1963 as per my claim

to the International Criminal Court of at least RM40 billions.

So the best start is a book to brainstorm our needs and direction in LA21.
