JK? Digest no 21 of September, 06 <235 of 2006> Two disturbing items to grasp for common good

Not meant to belittle any group, but I just like to share these two items.

In Chinese celestial cosmology, the moon represents the female principle, or yin. During ancient autumn Moon Festivals, women took center stage because the moon is considered feminine. Only women took part in Moon Festival rituals on the night of the full moon. Altars would be set up in households, and when the full moon appeared, women would make offerings of incense, candles, fruit, flowers, and mooncakes.

ITEM 2:

I was watching TV2 past mid night where the darling was a WHITE furry dog. The owner shared that if any dog is naughty, it is the fault of the owner, not the animal. Go a bit further it is the owner's own problematic character.

It is suffice to mention that for item 1 (accept that or not?), why is it that the moon plays so much significance for most people in certain groups, when the female is the weaker but fairer sex? Are these people really 'worshipping' the other side of the human race? Some people including religious and scientific people climb everywhere to spot it costing the taxpayers millions of whatever currency when we already have reliable lunar calendar. In those old days, such calendars were not widely recognised yet. We are now in the 21st century. Maybe just excuse to escape somewhere for some thrills at public expense.

It is suffice to send the right message in item 2 that there are lots of dog haters around, when it is our own 'stupidity' and 'ugliness' that we can learn from all animals. So don't blame the animals especially the dogs used for the goodness in humanity like drugs searchers, search and rescue operations, guide blind people pets, watch and guard dogs and above all the best friends of the human race. These dogs instead of cats now catch plenty of rats. Don't blame the howling/barking dogs at nights and even day times, as blame those people who are 'thiefing' at all time. These sensitive friends also make howling frightening noises because they can see what we cannot see especially at night, when some naughty people unleash "black magic" or "evil spirits". So blame the society, not the dogs please. Keep those versatile utility animals like dogs in good care.

too little conscience in us to realize who we are.. money, wealth and reputation take over our pride since the day we adapt to the system. where are we heading to?

to nature itself, human has become no value at all.
