Global terrorism ? and those missing hundreds of billions Ringgit

JK's Digest no 5 of September, 06 <219 of 2006>  Where have all those hundreds of billions Ringgit gone?

Into global terrrorism as well?

I know this has been happening for a few decades already but now this Auditor-General's report for 2005 confirm this expected phenomenon that money meant for the poor had been hijacked for the rich and other non deserving areas. (see below)

You can read the published article I wrote in my book "Sabah Wealth - Image of wood power" 2004.

What the AG disclosed in 2005's report is only a tip of the iceberg.  Why so late to expose this?   Petronas in Chad is likely another sign of the same thing.

My prayers now is for the leaders concerned to make public confessions of those abused funds also used to kill us slowly and surely when Sabah is actually feeding the heinous crimes against society.

The society as we see now is that the ordinary people are becoming more toward slavery within the nation.

Speak up now while you are still breathing.  When you are dead, your children are worst than slaves and without any voice.  Be an agent of change.

"Be the change that you want to see in the world" M Ghandi.

Money for poor used on MBs' homes, ntv7

A special fund channelled to several states for the purpose of helping the poor has been used for unrelated matters, according to the Auditor-General's Report 2005.

Among others, the money has been used to renovate the official residences of menteris besar and to buy equipment for private television station ntv7.

Apart from this, money from the fund was also used to erect billboards advertising impending visits by Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi or his deputy Najib Abdul Razak.

According to the report, the fund is made up of money from national oil giant Petronas which is channelled by the Treasury to certain state governments via the state development and finance agencies.

For the period between 2001 and 2005, a total of RM1.63 billion has been allocated. Of this figure, RM1.04 billion has been spent.

The states which received the money are Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis, Pahang and Negeri Sembilan.

The report said while at the federal level the people are able to reap the benefits from the fund, at the state level, the money is used for unrelated projects and this has affected the objectives of the programme.

Carpets and pin labels

The report said Kedah was allocated RM40 million between 2003 and 2005. Apart from putting up billboards on the premier and deputy premier's visits, the state government had also used the money to buy pin labels for dignitaries as well as hats and clothes for the state assembly's march pass team in conjunction with the Merdeka celebrations.

The state government also used money from the fund to pay for the carpets and 'timber blinds' in the menteri besar's office as well as filming equipment for ntv7 crews.

According to the report, based on the feedback received from the Treasury, these expenses occurred on the orders of the Kedah menteri besar.

The report also revealed that RM110,000 from the fund was channeled to Puteri Umno Sungai Petani based on a working paper to set up a tuition centre.
The payment should have been made based on the monthly claims submitted by the centre's teachers instead, said the report.
The report also disclosed that 700 computers worth RM2.10 million were bought with the fund's money without calling for tender in 2004. The computers were to be distributed to the village security and development committees in the state.

Another RM190,374 was spent by the state without the Treasury's approval for among others, congratulatory messages in newspapers and office equipment.

Meanwhile, Negeri Sembilan took out RM5.44 million from the special fund allocated to it to acquire furniture for the Seremban and Port Dickson district councils administration office.

Another RM4.50 million was used to convert the state's official guest house into the menteri besar's residence.

Python

JK? Digest no 6 of September, 06 <220 of 2006> Python of 6 meter long

What is ewe to a python? Food to swallow? But a pregnant sheep is too hard for this python.

This happened in Kuantan at Kampong Jabor recently (DE 7th September 2006).

What could the Rescue and Fire Department do except tell us of this incident.

This story has another message as we can learn from the animal kingdom as it is not easy to catch such a big python normally hidden in thick jungle. They have survived so long to be so big to come out to tell us a vivid story.

So read on.

In 1996-97, there were a lot of weird stories of big pythons coming out to eat up everything in their paths in Peninsula Malaysia. Even fishermen were having weird catches in the sea including a very big stingray without any market value.

After the few frightening encountered with the wild and big animals, you know what happen in May 1997 when the Asian Financial flu struck Malaysia. Until now we have not recovered as the Ringgit is still very cheap to the US$ holders.

That was the first stage of the python game of swallowing elsewhere and within the nation.

Now, this python cannot go on swallowing and even expelled the pregnant ewe to be mobile as the picture tell a story.

If this is not conveying a special message, we need to ponder our own scenario.

Who had been swallowing so much of the wealth meant for all in Malaysia?

We have reached the Catch 22 when Sabah is still with the poverty rate of 22% in 2006.

billions US$ burnt

JK? Digest no 7 of September, 06 <221 of 2006> Where had those Islamic funds gone to?

Billions of US$ raised for terrorism??

We read that Osama bin Ladin went on a fund raising drive in all Islamic nations in the early 1990s.

How much did he collect? Now where has all those money gone?

I wrote in JK? Digest no 5 of September, 06 <219 of 2006> Where have all those hundreds of billions Ringgit gone? with the prompting -- Into global terrorism as well?

I know the truth is there.

How did OBL of Al Qaeda use his cash and get those fighters in Afghanistan and Pakistan?

I had written about 900,000 left Sabah in the period 1994-2004 using Malaysian and Bruneian passports. (Read my books - EPIC of SABAH in 3 eds)

Who are these people?  Where did the fund to secure the identity documents and travel documents come from?

Also Sabah has a million and more outsiders given genuine blue identity cards?

OBL had been in Kuala Lumpur for sometimes to do some major contracts.

whither Sabah's wealth?

JK's Digest No. 23 of June 2007 (176 of 2007)  Petronas and RM46 billions last year.

Something to shout about but the people are generally suffering.
After 30 years of operations, only recent years we have seen more of the results of Petronas as people suddenly wake up to reality. I have written much about this.

Is RM46 billions good enough for the 50/44 years of celebrations?
I am wondering why should Petronas keep those socalled profits in recent years due to the extraordinary petroleum increases in prices?

It is also known that RM500 billions had flowed through Petronas prior to 2005 but little retention had been observed.  What happened?  Was it 'privately' owned as the Parliament never debated its performance with detailed accounts?

Now it is likely the tip of the iceberg of a denial that Thailand's most wanted separatist Sapaeing Basoe has never been employed by Petronas.  How true is that denial while rumour has been justified?

It is important that the Parliament calls for a WHITE paper now over the dealings of Petronas for 30 years with substantial wealth coming from Sabah.
