Aku tak penah join tapi teringin gak.. Ada member yg keja kat Silterra, Kulim 3 years back selected utk join kat ofis dia. Lepas office hours kul 5.30 start. Selalu dok lari jer sbb malas nak join sbb drag sampai malam.

mase aku dengan satu it company kat pj dulu, aku penah masuk toastmasters nih... fees company yg bayar.... mmg buat after office hour....lupa dah brape kali sebulan...yg bestnye masuk menda nih, setiap menda yg kite buat akan di amik timingnye... pastuh yg bab kasik speech tu mmg berpeluh ... utk the first 2 speeches tu bleh la bace dari note, tapi the rest tu kene la ingat point2 jek pastu kene buat public speaking... aku just lepas 2 stage jek... after that i left the company.... penah tengok few chinese guys yg level tinggi2 tuh..perrhh...impress betul... takde false fillers (err betul ke eja nih..?) langsung... and confident yg amat... tetiba jadik semangat kalau dengar diorang buat speech

Division W Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contests 2007 @ Sat 27/10/2007

I would like to inform you that the above will be held at Wisma WIM, TTDI on saturday 27th October, 2pm.

These contests will see 6 Area Champions vie for the crown of Division Champion in the Humorous Speech and Evaluation categories. These contests are where we put on show the best public speaking talents in Division W for your benefit. Therefore, it promises to be a delightful and exhilarating afternoon. So, mark this date in your calendars and don't forget to bring along your fellow members and guests. There are very few seats left, so do hurry to purchase your tickets from your Club Presidents or Area Governors. hi Yip... need some help here.

aku tgh cari member utk meramaikan toastmasters club yang baru kat Klang. wat masa ni hanya ada 1 club cenggini kat Klang, so club yg baru ni bertempat di HELP International College of Technology (Help-ICT) kat Klang Parade. aku cadang nak wat on saturday morning. so ramai member leh luang masa instead of wat meeting on weekdays malam. so diharap sape2 yg berminat nak join leh bg nama kat aku. tempat dah ada, tp member kureng.

so korang, diharap sudi give your full support for this club.

i was very shy and shivering when talking in front of ppl..even they are my close freinds..now not anymore.. after 3 years in toastmaster ..i hv the guts to stand and give my thought without any hesitation even to my SGM...thanks to Toastmaster..it really helps me to conquer my fear...

Toastmasters Boleh Bantu Tangani Isu Global

KUCHING, 18 April (Bernama) -- Anggota Toastmasters boleh menggunakan kemahiran mereka dalam bidang kepimpinan dan komunikasi pemujukan bagi mengajak orang ramai menangani isu global, kata Menteri Perancangan dan Pengurusan Sumber II Sarawak Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, Sabtu.

Awang Tengah berkata beliau percaya mereka mampu mempengaruhi orang ramai supaya menyumbang ke arah mewujudkan perubahan positif berkaitan isu yang melanda dunia ketika ini seperti krisis ekonomi, pemanasan global dan kemelut politik.

"Memandangkan anggota Toastmasters terlatih dalam bidang komunikasi pemujukan dan kepimpinan, maka saya tidak meragui kemampuan anda untuk berinteraksi dan mengajak orang ramai di dalam dan di luar lingkungan anda, dengan cara yang bermakna, bagi menjadikan dunia ini tempat yang lebih selesa untuk didiami," katanya ketika merasmikan Konvensyen Tahunan Toastmasters Daerah 51 ke-16 2009 di sini.

Kira-kira 500 anggota perwakilan Toastmasters dari Malaysia, Indonesia dan Brunei menghadiri konvensyen itu, yang bermula semalam.

Awang Tengah berkata penggemblengan pemikiran dari pelbagai negara pada konvensyen itu membuktikan betapa pentingnya kerjasama dan penggemblengan tenaga dalam memajukan diri sendiri.

"Jika kita perluaskan kuasa kerjasama ini ke bidang kehidupan lain, seperti hal-hal global, kita mampu mengatasi keadaan tertekan yang kita alami bersama di rantau ini," kata beliau.

Konvensyen tiga hari itu, yang bertemakan "A.I.M (Bertindak Untuk Memberi Inspirasi dan Motivasi), bertujuan menghidupkan kembali semangat kerjasama dalam cara yang berlainan, mewujudkan satu persekitaran bagi pertukaran idea melalui interaksi dan mewujudkan peluang bagi anggota perwakilan menyuarakan hal-hal penting.

Ia diadakan serentak dalam dua sesi yang menggunakan bahasa Inggeris dan Mandarin.

Antara tokoh terkemuka yang memberi ceramah pada konvensyen itu ialah pengarah urusan dan ketua pegawai eksekutif Malaysia Airlines Datuk Seri Idris Jala, pensyarah kajian komunikasi Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) Prof Madya Zaharom Nain, bekas presiden Majlis Perbandaran Kota Kinabalu Datuk Adeline Leong dan bekas gabenor Daerah 51 R. Sivanganam.
