Post time 14-2-2021 07:01 PM | Show all posts |Read mode

Buku yg Sy pernah let go
- John Grisham
- Phillipa Gregory
Jonathan Kellerman
Dan fantasy fiction yg sy xingat author nya.

Sometimes sy recommended & bagi pinjam kawan utk baca buku yg sy  rasa diorg akan suka. Tapi terhad pd yg saya kenal personally lah. Bila sambil baca terdetik hati "Eh rasanya ***** patut/ mesti suka baca buku ni".

Tak ingat dah. Tapi few book yg  berkisar Plantagenet dynasty dan masuk ke Tudor dynasty tu. Satu je yg saya ingat tajuknya King's Curse. King's Curse ni cerita tentang Countess of Salisbury yg akhirnya kena hanged jua.

Saya xdelah minat sgt nak baca non fiction Plantegenet Dynasty ni. Since Phillipa Gregory ada fiction pasal ni bolehla beli dan baca. Wlwpun fiction, tapi basic history pun xdelah lari sgt. Pasal zaman Tudor ni klu baca non fiction history memang mind blogging. Xsanggup baca especially bila melibatkn Caroline of Aragon dan The Lady Mary later Queen Mary of England. Tu yg baca Phillipa Gregory ni. Watered down sikit ke cruel an tu. More to emotional side dan hidden history yg author ni focus kan.

Saya tambah sikit ya posting atas. History book yg sy baca pasal Tudor dynasty tu buku zaman 18th & 19th century punya. Klu yg melibatkn Catherine of Aragon pun mmg sesak hati baca bila dia diturunkan darjat jadi Dowager Princess of Wales bila Henry VIII ceraikn dan kawin ngan Anne Boleyn. Bila meninggal pun di accordkan penghormatan Dowager PoW je. Princess Mary turun pangkat sebagai illigitimate child digelar The Lady Mary je.

Benda ni berlaku sbb England xnak pulangkan balik dowry Caroline pd ibunya Queen Isabella bila laki pertamanya Si Prince of Wales mangkat. Dikawinkan pulak dgn adik late husband nya yg akhirnya naik takhta jadi Henry VII.

Bila baca karya Phillipa Gregory ni xdelah sampai kita rasa nak baling buku sbb marah. Dia bermain emosi tapi xdela deep sgt sampai meninggalkan trauma. Trauma lagi baca buku sejarah/ memoir kurun 18/19 .

TQ kaka/bang mod bagi tacang. Saya klu nak bagi pinjam kawan, sy yg proposed tanya nak baca tak. Saya tak expect nnti pulangkan balik buku. Sbb my happiness ialah bila buku tu being enjoyed. If it happened I'm glad for them that the book is useful.  Sbb sy yg propose kan.
Last sy derma buku rasanya Jan 2020 kt street library tu. Rasanya masa zaman covid ni diorg X beroperasi kot. Mungkin lepas selesai zaman covid sy sumbangkan lagi. Insyaallah.
