Tip #1: Whenever a Pokémon appears, as long as it’s on screen, you can tap it to begin the catching process — no matter how far away it is from you.

Tip #2: If a Pokémon happens to flee while you’re attempting to catch it, it’s possible it will still be present on the map for you to try again.

Tip #3: Use Incense and Lure modules! Incense is a usable item you purchase in the Pokémon Go shop, or nab by leveling up. It attracts Pokémon to you and thus increases the odds of catching a rare Pokémon. It also lowers the probability of them fleeing.

Tip #4: Lure modules work in a similar way, but apply to the Pokéstop in which you use them. The lures attract Pokémon to that location for 30 minutes, and in doing so, benefit all players in the area. So, if you see a spot on your map with pink confetti-like animation, go there for a better chance at finding Pokémon. Add some incense, and you’re likely to be swarmed by the little monsters.

-You Can Pick Pikachu As Your Starter.

Right at the beginning of the game when you are given the usual Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle choice, pick none of them. As in, physically run away from them. The game will jump them over to try and follow you, but by the fourth time you do this, it gets the message you don’t want any of them, and surprise! There’s Pikachu, joining the party.

Tips Pokemon Go

-Make life easier by turning off “AR” when catching Pokémon, which will switch off your camera, saving battery life

-You can also turn on “Battery Saver” in the app’s settings, which will darken your screen when it's not in use

-Pay attention to the box at the bottom right of the screen, which will tell you which Pokémon can be found nearby

-Tap that box to bring up all the Pokémon in the area, and tap one of them again to track a specific critter

Eevee evolution trainer nickname

It would seem that there is in fact a way to force an evolution of your Eevee. The Eevee Brothers from the original anime were named Rainer, Pyro, Sparky and they owned a Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon respectively. If you nickname your Eevee either Rainer, Pyro or Sparky, your Eevee will evolve into that desired Eeveelution!
Sparky = Jolteon
Rainer = Vaporeon
Pyro = Flareon
