I know George told Jin that there was areward out for him so his leaving is public knowledge. It could be asyou said EMP's 'manipulation' but he doesn't really need the press topressure the couple into the engagement. Anyway maybe it was put in forcomic effect!! It was quite funny the way Jin and XM were surroundedand treated as if they had eloped. That Jap butler guy was also prettyfunny
Wow you can see Chun's anger expression when he came to know about theagreement between Cai and XM. I love the way how he shouted because wehaven't see him angry before. It's pretty good.
Then Ying was angry for XM because everything went topsy turvy when she came and even wanted to punch her, but Cai stopped him.
XMis very vexed because Jin is angry. But in actual fact Jin is angry athimself because he thinks he has fallen for XM but he doesn't want tobe the successor. So he tells himself that he can't fall for XM.
XM now goes to Jin's room to explain everything again
Jin tells Emp what he thinks which is getting out of Huang Fu to use his own hands to work and live on his own.
Emptells him he still has the potential to be the successor, but he wishesto do the above is because he hasn't had any hardship before.
He told Jin, having money can do anything, but you can't live without money.
Empadded that if he wants to leave he can leave now, because everyone ispreparing for XM and Cai's engagement party. And he doesn't want to seeXM distracted.

In the letter to XM, he gave her a ring,which costs around 500NT. He bought the ring when he secretly did parttime work without Emp's knowledge.
He told her that was the only thing which he used his own hands to buy, and one of the most meaningful thing he has.
cai doesn't want his mistake to cause xmand jin to separate, so heconspires with emp in hopes of making jinjealous. but all of a sudden,lin tells xm that jin got into a caraccident, making xm very worried...
whenxmand lin arrive to the hospital, she discovers that it was all partoflin's plot to see how much she cared for jin. lin realizes thatxm'sfeelings for jin are true, so he wants to bring them together. butwhenhe hurries home, he finds that jin has left home again, causing xmtofeel extremely hurt.
inorderfor emp to test his understanding of jin, he and cai conspires tohavexm get engaged to cai. they hope jealousy will make jin revealhisfondness for xm. but as time passes minute by minute, there's nonewson jin, causing even cai to start worrying.
throughhistime away from home, jin suddenly realizes how much xm means tohim. heis unable to accept the fact that xm will marry someone else,so hehurries home to stop the engagement. when he arrives, he findsthebuilding empty, causing him to feel discouraged for missingtheengagement. but he finds out that in reality, it was emp whocanceledthe engagement, and he happily reunites with xm. the twofinally seeshow much they mean to each other...

althoughjin and xm have revealed that they like each other, they still have toavoid being discovered by emp, so jin doesn't become the heir. emp evenoffers a $100,000 reward for anyone who can catch them being intimate.jin and xm work very hard to avoid emp's surveillance. in the end, xmthinks of a plan: she and jin are able to avoid others' gaze and findtime alone in the women's changing room.
empunderstands that this tactic is unable to make jin and xm reveal theirrelationship, so he secretly plots a more extreme plan...
while jinand xm work desperately to find ways to avoid emp's gaze and spend timetogther, the weather suddenly changes and rain starts pouring from thesky...

Jin and XM are avoiding all the survelliancefrom Emp. trying to catch them together, then suddenly, Emp announcesthat XM is not his real grand daughter..and the real one is actually"Genie" .
XM is deeply affected by the news, because she now has no idea who herreal parents are, and apart from this, she doesnt want to leave theHuang Fu home. Most of all, Emp wants Jin to marry "Genie". Jincomforts XM and tells her that no matter what happens, he will notmarry "Genie". But XM knows better, as "whatever Emp. decides, therewill be no changing"
XM is unwilling to lose Jin to "Genie", so she begs Emp to let her stayin the Huang Fu house as a maid. Jin did not want XM to do this, but itis the only way that they can see each other. Emp. wants "Genie" to beable to adapt to the life of being "Huang Fu Shan", so he organises XMto be "Genie"s personal maid, but "Genie" is pretty mean to XM..."
