Miura Haruma chosen as new CM character for “Monster Hunter Portable 3rd”
Miura Haruma has been chosen as a new image character for the game “MONSTER HUNTER PORTABLE 3rd” (available for the PSP), which will be released on December 1st. ”MONSTER HUNTER PORTABLE 3rd” is the newest chapter of the “MONSTER HUNTER PORTABLE” series – an exciting hunting/action game against formidable monsters.
Haruma said that he is happy to be chosen as a new image character because he has been playing this game for a long time. The new CM featuring Haruma will begin airing in the middle of October.
Tabe and Miura In Tears at the Stage Greetings of 'Kimi ni Todoke'
Tabe Mikako (21) and Miura Haruma (20) attended the opening day stage greetings for movie 'Kimi ni Todoke' on the 25th at TOHO Cinemas in Roppongi Hills.
With voices halted by sobs, Tabe and Miura read off a letter thanking original manga writer Shiina Karuho and staff members for working through the difficulties during filming.
"I'm thankful for everything," said Tabe. "I won't forget this feeling of gratitude even after it ends," Miura commented. Also in attendance were Renbutsu Misako, Kiritani Mirei, Natsuna and Aoyama Haru.
Miura Haruma & Tabe Mikako go on their “first date tour”
Miura Haruma and Tabe Mikako who star in movie, “Kimi ni Todoke,” which was released on September 25th, went on a “first date tour” as the movie’s big hit anniversary on October 4th. They made tour stops at Yokohama China town, Odaiba, Asakusa, and Tokyo Tower, riding on a skybus (open-air double-decker bus).
After their date, they stopped by the TOHO cinemas Roppongi Hills (movie theater), and talked about their date to the audience. Miura said, “I haven’t gone on a date in Tokyo for years, so it was so much fun!” However, Mikako said, “but, you fell asleep…”

The cast members of “UNO FOG BAR” CM, Tsumabuki Satoshi, Oguri Shun, Eita, and Miura Haruma appeared on variety talk show, Oshareism which was broadcasted on October 10th as a 1-hour special.  They talked about the shoot of CM in London, and that they often go drinking together.

A press conference for new PSP game, “Monster Hunter Portable 3rd” (Capcom) was held on November 10th, and Miura Haruma, Okada Yoshinori, comedian duo JichoKacho’s Inoue Satoshi, and Tutorial’s Tokui Yoshimi, showed up.
Miura told, “I have been playing ‘Mon-hun’ since I was in high school. I used to go to cafe, and play it with my friends after school as if it was a club activity. Since I was playing it too much, I kept hearing the theme song in my head even while I was in class.”
“Monster Hunter Portable 3rd” will be released on December 1st, but before its release, the four guys got to play it, and enjoyed it very much.
Miura Haruma and Erika Toda To Play Lovers And Teachers In An Upcoming Drama Full of Drama
Today Fuji TV has officially announced their Monday drama for the next season and revealed that actress Toda Erika (22) and actor Miura Haruma (20) will play the leading roles.
The title of the drama is "Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta" and it will depict a complicated love story of two young teachers whose relationship is being put on a trial by betrayal and other conflicts.
Toda will play a cheerful and lively English teacher at a senior high school who is about to get married to her long-time boyfriend and fellow teacher played by Miura. Both of them have been classmates during their senior high school and university days and eventually became a couple that recently decided to get married someday soon. She loves her job and lives a happy private life, but all that is about to collapse when she finds out that her fiancé has a forbidden relationship with one of the schoolgirls at their school.
Miura himself usually is a very bright and sincere teacher as well. Even the parents of his students trust him blindly due to his sincerity, but what they don't know is that he is having a relationship with one of the girls of his new class. He himself feels very bad about betraying his fiancée, but after learning about the darkness that filled up that girl's heart he chose to help her out of this misery.
The producers about the difficult challenges they've prepared for Toda and Miura, "There are only a few actress that can grow into their roles like Toda Erika and Miura Haruma fits perfectly into the role of the young teacher whose life begins to turn into the wrong direction thanks to his fresh appearance and delicate acting."
In addition Toda already seems to be emotionally attached to her role, "Affection is something that you give.
That's something I have definitely found out and the one thing I'd like to convey through the universal theme of love."
Miura is ambitious as well, "There's a lot of pressure since it's my first Monday drama and my first role as a teacher, but I'm really looking forward to start working with Toda and everyone else."
In January we will find out whether their love will be able to bear all the conflicts and betrayals.
Erika Toda, Haruma Miura co-star as teachers in next "Getsu 9" drama
Erika Toda (22) and Haruma Miura (20) will co-star in Fuji TV's next "Getsu 9" drama series. The show, called "Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta," will be the first time either of them has starred in that time slot, and the first time that either has played the part of a teacher.
Toda plays a cheerful high school English teacher, while Miura plays a sincere and earnest biology teacher at the same school. The two characters were classmates during their high school and university days, and now they are engaged to be married in half a year. However, their happiness is put to the test when various circumstances lead to Miura unwittingly engaging in an improper relationship with one of his new female students. While he suffers from the anguish of his betrayal, he is resolved to save the young girl from her problems.
