Episode 1 Preview

14-year-old Hamyoung lost his family because of an erroneous news report. He almost lost his life as well, but was saved by an old man who lives on a remote island. That old man treats Hamyoung as his eldest son Dalpo, who was lost at sea nearly 30 years ago. He thought that Dalpo had come back, so he renamed Hamyoung and adopted him.

Hiding his real name, Dalpo now has a new family. A father whose age is closer to his father. A younger brother who is his father’s age. A niece, Inha, who is actually the same age as himself.

Inha has Pinocchio Syndrome and cannot lie. So from the very first moment she sees Dalpo, she cannot help but tell him exactly what’s on her mind. Yet this honesty gives Dalpo a strange sense of comfort…

Like how IHYV used song names as the individual subtitles of the episodes, ‘Pinocchio’ will use the names of fairy/childhood tales as the subtitle. The first episode is called, of course, Pinocchio.

Hangjun ni script writer drama <The King of Dramas> starring Kim Myung Min and Jung Ryeo Won. Pernah cast Shinhye cameo dalam drama tu. In return, he immediately agreed (he wanted to refused the offer at first) to make a cameo in < Pinocchio> as soon as he heard Shinhye is the female lead of the drama.

Director ni akan appear in one of In Ha's imaginary scenes. Same goes to Jung Woong In, will appear in In Ha's imaginary as well. Sebelum In Ha pilih untuk jadi reporter, dia consider some careers that could fit her as she could not afford to tell lies. Naif gila pemikiran LOL So antaranya an actress and a lawyer. Tapi hakikatnya, reporter pun same je...hahaha...

live....so far tidak mengecewakan..walau x de subtitle tp fhmlah jalan cerita..x sabar nak tunggu de subtitle..
npknya penulis citer ni mash lagi menggunakan formula seperti mane ihyv...nk tunggu subtitle br faham sepenuhnya...

Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye’s “Pinocchio” Kicks Off Second in Ratings



SBS’ new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Pinocchio” premiered yesterday night, and it recorded a 7.8 percent in viewership ratings, according to Nielsen Korea.

MBC’s “Mr. Baek” placed first with 11.6 percent, maintaining its top position, and KBS’ “Iron Man” raked in 3.2 percent, placing third.

“Pinocchio” stars Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye in a drama set in the world of news media. Park Shin Hye plays a woman (Choi In Ha) who suffers from the Pinocchio Syndrome and cannot lie and Lee Jong Suk plays a man (Choi Dal Po) who has to lie to keep his past hidden. The first episode dealt with the background story of these people, showing how they met and why Choi Dal Po had to lie about who he really is.

1st ep. was good. Nampak la drama ni sentuhan drpd IHYV's writer Park Hye Ryun dan pengarahan & editing pun ok. Very beautiful. Jo Soo Won PD-nim really did his good job untuk 1st ep. Hopefully drama ni akan follow the same momentum as IHYV, or can do even better. Thankfully the drama gets good responses from knets.
