GLAY launches new label

Rock band GLAY has announced that they have launched a new independent sub-label under For Life Music Entertainment. The label is called "loversoul music & associates," and they plan to release new material through the label soon.

GLAY stated that they created the label so that they can properly spread their music on their own. Their first single on the new label will be released this September. They are also said to be close to completing their 10th original album - their first since 2007 - with a release planned before the end of this year.

GLAY Launches New Label!

GLAY has recently announced that they will be launching their very own music label called “loversoul music & associates”! It will only be an independent sub-label, however, under For Life Music Entertainment (FLME).

Takuro (gu.) left a message in Japanese on the band’s official site to fans telling them more about the change. In it he stated that this has been something they have looked forward to doing and has been a long-standing dream of GLAY’s. GLAY also hopes to feel their fans’ support during their tour this month starting on the 17th called “ROCK AROUND THE WORLD”. We wrote a post about it a few months ago that you can see here.

Also, GLAY has plans to release material through their new label soon! They have plans for both a single and brand new original album that you can look forward to seeing later this year. The single has already been planned for September, but a date for the album has not yet been set.

One thing about the new album that is pretty exciting is that it will be their 10th original album to date and their first since 2007! So I’m sure all you fans can definitely look forward to that! As always, we’ll keep you updated!

GLAY’s national tour “GLAY LIVE TOUR 2010-2011 ROCK AROUND THE WORLD” kicks off

Popular J-rock band, GLAY, started their national tour “GLAY LIVE TOUR 2010-2011 ROCK AROUND THE WORLD” on June 17th.

Lead vocalist TERU, said to fans, “We have been around for 16 years, and we still keep on running. I want to show you that we are the only one for you today.”

During the live performance, GLAY sang many of their new songs as well as their masterpieces from the past.

“GLAY LIVE TOUR 2010-2011 ROCK AROUND THE WORLD” will keep going until the final stage at Saitama Super Arena on Feburary 6th 2011.

They are planning to release a new single in September, and also a new album in 2010.
