Part 19
From what happened last episode , Roxanne was arrested together with the other people at the abortion clinic. When Manuel saw her, he rushed to the police station.
At Dash's Parlor, Ysabel was worried about Manuel when he knew Roxanne's decision to abort the baby. Dash was wondering why she should be worried since Roxanne the real mother didn't want the baby.
Dash: so you are saying that if Roxanne give you the baby you are ready to become a mother?
Ysabel: Of course yes... I will not think twice about it.
Dash clapped when Ysabel declared that
Dash: You are strong!!
Roxanne finally was freed with the help of Manuel and his lawyer. Inside the car she was shouting and saying that she was not capable to be a singel mother. Afraid she would do the same thing again, he offered his hand in marriage. Roxanne was happy to hear that (I hate her!!!)
At Manuel's house, they met with Darling's boyfriend and also a priest who would give advise to Roxanne. While Roxanne was talking to the priest, Ysabel came to tell Manuel that Drew had told her about Roxanne's decision to abort the baby. So when Roxanne saw Ysabel, sarcastically she said that she and Manuel were going to be married, well ysabel was surprised.
At the parlor Ysabel was kind of sad and said at least she was happy for manuel and for his wedding and for expecting a baby but she admitted that she was hurt but she couldn't do anything.
Darling didn't like the news that her brother was going to marry Roxanne.
Darling: Why do you have to get married?
Manuel: that's the only way she would not abort the baby.
Darling: But that's wrong...you are marrying her for the wrong reasons
Manuel: that's the only way so that the baby will not be effected
Darling: kuya think that there are still time.
She was even sadder when Manuel told her that Roxanne will live in the same house with them since he was afraid she would do something stupid again.
Well..Roxanne moved in with Manuel. She was always complaining and demanding that really annoyed Darling.
At a shopping mall, Ysabel and Dash went to shop. Looked like the solution for her depression was shopping. Again they ran into Manuel. She tried to run away but Manuel finally caught up with her
Manuel: Ysabel!
she was forced to face him
Ysasbel: Why did you follow me?
Manuel: I didn't follow you but I just want to explain.
Ysabel: I didn't ask for explanation.
Manuel: Can you please listen to my explanation.
Ysabel: ok. 1 minute.
Manuel: I'm marrying Roxanne because of the baby..
Ysabel: ok. that's it?
Manuel: I DON'T LOVE HER..
Ysabel: Well it's your decision...and again since you like to listen, why don't you listen to your future wife roxanne.
After she said that, both her and dash left manuel.
manuel went to the parlor when ysabel was not around and handed his wedding invitation to dash.
Dash: So it's true you guys are getting married.
Manuel: I do it for the sake of my baby.
Dash: A marriage is for good times and bad . If you married Roxanne you will go through all bad times and not good times.
Manuel: What can we do...it's there now.
Dash: If your choice is to have a miserable life...is that what you want?
Manuel: If yabel and I would be together, what more do I want...it's complete.
Dash: wow..that's what she said too..
As if he's alive again hearing that from Dash..
Manuel: She said that?
Dash: I didn't say that.....
Manuel: of course not dash...she said that?
Dash was forced to tell the truth..
Dash: yesy but you are getting married, is there anything we can do?
At the restaurant, Drew told ysabel about his plans. He had a job offer in Singapore and he may work there.
Drew: After all manuel is getting married, so If you agree you can marry me and move to Singapore with me.
Ysabel didn't answer Drew's invitation.
Dash stopped by at ysabel's place to give manuel's wedding invitation. She was surprised to see it and belived that wedding would still go on. She left and the two ladies had to take care of dash.
THE GOODBYE SCENE
manuel and ysabel met at a park for their final meeting before manuel's wedding.
Ysabel: So the wedding will go on.
Manuel: yes it will be on.
YSAbel: congratulations.
Manuel: thank you.
They stopped near a pond. He looked at the pond and looked at ysabel who was beside him.
Manuel: Ysabel ..I want you to know that I really love you but I have to marry Roxanne.
Ysabel: I understand you...I too will marry Drew and move to Singapore.
Manue: Really?
Ysabel: Maybe it started wrong...it wasn't meant to be us...
Manuel: you regret it?
She only looked at him..
Ysabel: Why should I regret something that was so beautiful in my life
The both smiled and hugged each other.
Manuel: Wish it was you ..
Ysabel: Yeah wish...
After a few moment, they let go of each other.....
Ysabel: lets just pretend we didn't know each other so that you can marry roxanne and I can marry drew...
there were silence..
Ysabel: I Really wish you well..
and she left manuel. She wanted to looked longer at the man she loved for the last time but she refrained herself and left in tears. When manuel saw her last glimpse he watched the pool and dropped down his head as if he was crying too.
