Actor Lee Byung-hun admits romantic relationship
Yonhapnews
SEOUL, Aug. 20 (Yonhap) -- Top actor Lee Byung-hun admitted dating actress Lee Min-jung but denied rumors that they are getting married in November.
The two celebrities said they are in a "serious relationship" in postings on their Web sites Sunday.
"I found someone that I want to be with. Now, she has become the most important person to me. And I want to take this relationship seriously," Lee said on his Web site, referring to fellow actress Lee Min-jung.
The 30-year-old actress also said, "I want to tell all of you that we are dating as lovers."
They earlier denied relationship rumors.
In the posting, the 42-year-old actor apologized to his fans for the belated acknowledgement, saying, "We feel really sorry that we were not able to tell the truth."
The actor said he first met the actress during a gathering many years ago but began dating after a casual meeting early this year.
Still, the actress denied rumors that they are getting married in November.
"It's false information," she said. "The two of us are not preparing for marriage, and there is nothing fixed."
Lee Byung-hun has been at the center of the boom of Korean pop culture in Japan along with Bae Yong-joon.
Lee starred in the Hollywood blockbuster "G.I. Joe" and became the first Asian actor to leave handprints in the forecourt of a Hollywood theater.
The actress rose to stardom with her supporting role in the popular KBS drama "Boys over Flowers" in 2009. She later starred in such films as "White Night," "Cyrano Agency" and "Wonderful Radio," and several TV dramas, including "Midas" and "Big." |

Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung Admit They Are Dating

Lee Min Jung (31) and Lee Byung Hun (43) have admitted they are in a serious relationship.
On August 19, Lee Min Jung admitted she was currently in a relationship with Lee Byung Hun through her official homepage. Rumors that the two were an item first began surfacing a month ago but both sides had continually denied their dating status.
Regarding this, Lee Min Jung’s homepage wrote in its press release, “The reason Lee Min Jung denied [her relationship with Lee Byung Hun] when the issue first surfaced in April was because she was not yet ready to endure the scrutiny that would follow with the public and with her fans, once the revelation was made.”
Initially Lee Min Jung’s side told enews, “[The two] had only shared a meal but are not dating.”
Lee Min Jung also surprisingly revealed, “Above all, as this was something even [Lee Min Jung’s] parents and agency did not know, I could not help but be careful. I wanted to muster up the courage to be honest with everyone once my judgment, belief and everything else became a little more solid and resolute.”
She added, “Thinking it wasn’t right to continue to try and lie while attempting to reverse and deny things, I consulted with my senior (Lee Byung Hun) and we both decided to reveal our positions [publicly] through writing.”
Lee Min Jung shared, however, that the rumors the two had agreed to marry was not true. Rumors the two had visited a famous hanbok store in Seoul’s Gangnam to order their wedding gifts had recently been spreading.
However, Lee Min Jung denied the rumors saying, “The rumor of a wedding being held in November is wrong information. The two of us have not been preparing for a wedding and nothing has been decided either.”
On a final note, Lee Min Jung asked for the support of her fans and the public saying, “We are both still very careful but in a serious relationship and in the future when any good events happen, we will reveal them first to everyone. As one woman, as an actor and as a daughter I had a lot of concern and worries but I am looking to be brave now. After confessing, I am now looking to make my happiness within everyone’s support.”
The two reportedly became close through their mutual interest in movies. Lee Byung Hun, in particular, as Lee Min Jung’s senior in the acting industry was said to regularly provide advice in her works.
Lee Min Jung's Ideal Man was Kim Soo Hyun while Dating Lee Byung Hun?

In the midst of admitting that she is dating top star Lee Byung Hun, Lee Min Jung’s past ideal type confession has been making headlines.
In March, Lee Min Jung sat down with MBC’s Section TV Entertainment Relay where she revealed her ideal type. Because she has been chosen as many men’s ideal lady, Lee Min Jung’s ideal man became a topic of interest.
Choosing between Jang Hyuk and Uhm Tae Woong, whom she’s worked with before, Lee Min Jung chose Uhm Tae Woong. Between Kim Soo Hyun and Lee Min Ho, she chose Kim Soo Hyun. And in the final round between Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Soo Hyun, she ended up choosing Kim Soo Hyun as her final ideal type.
At the time of the interview, the reporter asked, “But Kim Soo Hyun has Yeon Woo (Han Ga In), and Lee Min Jung replied, “It’s okay because it’s a sageuk (old traditional drama),” showing her affections for the actor.
However, it turns out that during the time of the interview, Lee Min Jung was already dating Lee Byung Hun. Although her broadcast ideal man was Kim Soo Hyun, it can be checked that her real ideal man was actually Lee Byung Hun.
Meanwhile, on August 19, Lee Min Jung and Lee Byung Hun both confessed that they are dating through their individual homepages. They added that they are indeed dating, but aren’t planning marriage just yet, like the rumors have been saying.

Memang tertunggu2 gambar mereka berdua keluar sekali walaupun dah selalu dating belum ada satu pun of them together. Lagipun they all bukannya co-stars dan tak pernah berlakon sama.
Mana tahu masa Gwanghae's VIP Premiere next week.. dapat tengok LMJ. Tengok gambar terbaru dia, she looks really happy & radiant. Orang bercinta lah katakan.

'Red 2' Teaser Poster:
Willis, Mirren & Malkovich Head to Europe
by Anthony Taormina ScreenRant.com
Red 2 doesn’t begin filming until next spring, but that’s not stopping DC Entertainment and Summit from teasing the returning cast of all-stars along with franchise newcomers entering the fold. A teaser poster for the sequel has been released, showcasing the names and shadows of some of those familiar stars, along with a little hint of the sequel’s story.
Key members from the first film’s cast – Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Mary Louise Parker, and John Malkovich – are rightfully situated on the one-sheet, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-Hun Lee (G.I. Joe 2). The backdrop of the poster, while extraordinarily drab, teases the plot of Red 2 following Willis’ gang of retired CIA operatives taking on a new set of enemies across Europe.
Among those new enemies may be Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins, but he has yet to officially sign on for a role – hence his absence from the poster. As a counterpoint to Karl Urban – one of the “villains” in the first film – Anthony Hopkins would provide a much more worthy adversary in terms of the series’ proclivity for geriatric humor. Still, it was exciting to see Willis outmatched, but still successful, against a younger and more virile opponent in Red. Perhaps that’s the role martial arts expert Byung-Hun Lee is set to play.
With original Red director Robert Schwentke busy putting the finishing touches on R.I.P.D. whilst this sequel will be shooting, Dean Perisot will be giving his best effort to replicate his past success with the film Galaxy Quest. Like that comedic space adventure, Red 2 puts Perisot at the helm of a film that blends action with comedy, and stars iconic stars of yesteryear – albeit Bruce Willis is a major upgrade from Tim ‘The Toolman’ Taylor.
Given that Summit wants to kick off the promotional tour for Red 2 early, not even waiting until a single shot of film is “in the can,” expect plenty of character posters to be released closer to next summer when the film releases. For now, we can only hope that Bruce Willis is heading for a showdown with Sir Anthony Hopkins.
Red 2 releases August 2, 2013.

Taewon Entertainment says rumours of 'IRIS 2' is unfounded
By Korea Star Daily | Kpop Fighting
It was reported today that ‘IRIS 2’ is being prepared for production and this has gotten the attention of many netizens.
Many television personnel revealed in news reports on August 23rd that production is set in stone for the sequel to ‘IRIS’.
‘IRIS’ was a big hit back in 2009, starring big names like Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, and many more. Exciting fighting scenes and a good storyline endeared itself to viewers locally and overseas.
But with regards to the news, a Taewon Entertainment representative expressed, “Production for the second season of ‘IRIS’ isn’t confirmed yet. There’s no confirmed production timeframe or broadcast date. There’s no decision on who will write the script, direct the drama, and many more. But preparation for ‘IRIS 2’ is on-going bit by bit. But we won’t be elaborating on what they are.”

Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee confirmed to not reprise their roles for 'IRIS 2'
by webe allkpop
It has now been confirmed that the stars of ‘Iris‘, Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee will not be reprising their roles for ‘IRIS 2.’
Rumors were flying on August 23rd that ‘IRIS 2′ was gearing up to start filming in early next year and on August 24th, the production company stated that the only thing that is confirmed is that Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee will not be returning.
Jung Tae Won of Taewon Entertainment, the production company behind ‘IRIS’ stated to Newsen, “There is no timetable for when the drama will go in production or when it will air. Because part 2 will be completely different from part 1 in terms of the story, Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee will no longer make an appearance. We have not cast any roles as of yet.”
‘IRIS’ was broadcast on KBS2 in 2009 and starred Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, Jung Jun Ho, Kim Seung Woo, Kim So Yeon and Big Bang’s T.O.P. With such an A list cast, even from the beginning, the drama had an explosive popularity garnering a 39.9% viewer rating.
Because ‘Iris’ was a massive hit, people hoped that the main characters Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee would star in part 2 but that is not to be. Lee Byung Hun is preparing to star in ‘RED 2‘ with Bruce Willis and after starring in the Japanese drama, ‘The 99 Days with Me and the Star‘ in 2011, Kim Tae Hee is carefully reviewing scripts to decide her next project.
Taewon Entertainment is gearing up to film ‘Marrying the Mafia 5: Return to the Mafia‘ thus delaying production on ‘IRIS 2.’ According to Jung Tae Ho, Kim Hyun Jun who wrote the script for ‘IRIS’ will not be returning to pen ‘IRIS 2′ and the writing of the series has not begun yet either.
Representative Jung is currently focusing on ‘Marrying the Mafia 5′ and planning out the next steps for ‘IRIS 2.’
