Now people should understand why even he finished filming Stardust, but he is still very busy before going to Japaon in Sep. Actually, his schedule was very smooth until the 1-month delay of Hot Shot and the unexpected teeth problem. No wonder he needs to rush now. According to news, the celebration party was not planned ahead of time and with very very short notice by phone. As Jerry needs to stay in Japan in Sept and Oct., and in order to coordinate with the executive producer's schedule, he was scheduled to record his solo album at this period of time. Therefore, he couldn't attend the celebration party with such a short short notice. At the same time, Guan Yin was also absent as she was sick. Therefore, the reporter used the old headline again stating that Jerry and Guan have problems, so both was missing from the party. Interestingly, the reporter mentioned that Jerry hugged everyone during the filming day, including Guan in the news article.
Regarding his solo album, I think he doesn't need to record 10 new songs. Probably, SonyBMG may include You Are My Only Persistance, Hot Shot's ending song, and this cm song, and remember Huang Yuan Ling (the composer of You Are My Only Persistance) mentioned before that Jerry and she had finished recording some songs. On the other hand, I don't have confidence in SonyBMG at all. Not mentioning that it is super hard to sell albums in TW, if the old contract is still valid, SonyBMG is not the only one which has control on Jerry's solo album. If I remember right, the contract was signed shortly after MG1, Angie Chai and her boyfriend's (one admin. of SonyBmG) record company owed Jerry's album contract and then they coorindated with SonyBMG for production and distribution. Like his first solo album, both AC's record company also took a share of the copyright tax. With past experiences, SonyBMG doesn't want to provide much resources to singers who don't have full management contracts with it, so I don't put much hope on the promotion. However, Jerry my want to complete the 2nd solo album and to end the contract, or to have new songs for the concerts in Japan. According to news, Dir. Lin said that Stardust won't be broadcasted until next Feb. Therefore, there are a lot of possibilities regarding Jerry's upcoming projects. Regardless, I am glad that he has a whole month to prepare the concerts this time (not like before having only a few days) and I hope that he will take a month off after the concerts in Japan. |

Heard that Stardust might be broadcasted later this year in China and/or Japan. The Feb. 2009 broadcast date is for TW.
Newstoday said that for the later part of the year he will be busy forJapan concerts and filming of Skipbeat. Of course, the new drama is notyet confirmed. |

Readthat Jerry needed to work on a commercial yesterday, but as he reallywanted to attend the premiere, JVR had tried to arrange all along.Finally, the manufacturer agreed to give Jerry 1 hr. break to attendthe premiere. That's why he only stayed for 10 minutes when actors anddirector were introduced on the stage.

Initially,Jerry was unable to attend the premiere due to other work commitments,but he specially requested for 1hr time off to attend the premiere.
Jerrysaid, coz of this drama he is happy to get to know many friends whoplays basketball. Although he doesn't play well, he will give his bestto act.
