“A Gentleman’s Dignity’, Im Me Ah Ri, Tearful Monologue Made The Viewers Cry
Actress Yoon Jin Yi made everyone cry.
On the episode aired on the 15th, Im Me Ah Ri visited Choi Yoon's wife, Lee Jung Ah, in a Charnel House who passed away to beg for her permission to love Choi Yoon.
This day, Im Me Ah Ri placed flowers on her stone and said, "I came here so I can spend a nice day with Yoon. I was always so sorry to come and stand before you so I never came but I'm here today to tell you something important. Please let me love Yoon" and became teary eyed.
She also said, "Can you ask Yoon to like me too? I am sorry that I like him so much", and sat down and cried.
At that moment, four men who came to visit Jung Ah saw Im Me Ah Ri and her older brother Im Tae San and Choi Yoon became submerged in complicated thoughts
Choi Yoon also had some attraction to Im Me Ah Ri but she is his friend's sister and 17 years younger so he purposely considered her as a little child. But, with Im Me Ah Ri's feelings being so truthful, viewers are curious as to what will happen to his feelings towards her.
The viewers said, "Im Me Ah Ri's tears for permission, hurts my heart", "When will her love become true", or "Me Ah Ri was so sad today."

A Gentleman's Dignity' Kim Min Jong - Yoon Jin Yi, Why We Can't Root For Them Straight Up
Will Kim Min Jong and Yoon Jin Yi's relationship in 'A Gentleman's Dignity' be successful?
Aside from the dramas main couple Jang Dong Gun and Kim Ha Neul, this couple is a couple that is attracting many of the publics love.
In the drama Choi Yoon(Kim Min Jong) and Im Me Ah Ri's(Yoon Jin Yi) age difference is 17 years. The age difference is just one obstacle? There is another obstacle involved. Choi Yoon was married once before but his wife has now passed away. Not only that, but Im Me Ah Ri's brother Im Tae San(Kim Soo Ro) and Choi Yoon are best friends who continue their relationship from high school to now.
Choi Yoon also tries to pull himeself together about the feelings for Me Ah Ri because he does not want to lose his best friend Tae San or Me Ah Ri.
Im Me Ah Ri is a very charming woman. She is honest, and also young and pretty. But even though everyone wants to root for her love reality is not very kind towards their situation.
For a relationship between a woman who is only in her early 20s and a man who is in his early 40s who has yet to forget about his deceased wife, it is hard for a parent, a sibling or even a friend to tell them 'Good luck.'
'A Gentleman's Dignity' viewers have been commenting "I want them to end up together. But if she was my family member I would have to think about the situation more." , "It's not Tae San's fault for saying no to their relationship." , "The two have the most obstacles in their relationship."
Me Ah Ri will continue to cry. Tae San will continue to say no to their relationship. Choi Yoon will continue to hide his feelings toward Me Ah Ri.

After watching the beginning of Ep 16 we got to see just how deep and strong the F44's relationship is. They dropped everything to rush to Yoon's side. It didn't matter the situation they were in at the time, but getting to Yoon was more important. These guys have been through everything together for over 20 years. They have a bond that is that is thick and strong. EH played a part in almost breaking up their relationship by all four being in love with the same girl. All four went after the same girl but she fell in love with DJ which saved their friendship at that time. Once DJ and EH started their relationship a line was drawn that none of the others would even consider crossing. Love comes in many forms and these four men love and trust each other unconditionally. We also saw from EP 16 how devastated Yoon was in losing his wife. Yes, it has been four years since she died but some people can't let go as quickly as others. To Yoon MR is a ray of sunshine that has bursted forward into his lonely life with her love for him. Yoon is torn between letting go of his deceased wife, MR and his friendship with TS. F44 they watch woman together. They talk about woman together. They fantasize about woman together. This is where the conflict comes in. Yoon being with MR would make their get togethers arkward and uncomfortable. This would change their friendship. The line they've drawn will be been broken. They are family to each other. Therefore putting a strain on their relationship and their bond.. It's not just between Yoon and TS it's all four who will be affected. Then we come to the age difference. I have nothing against age diffences between a man and a woman. But the problem comes here with MR's immaturity. TS sees it and so does Yoon. Yoon addressed MR's dreams and ambitions with her. What she wanted to do with her life. MR's life only centers around Yoon. She only wants to cling to him. Nothing else matters in life to her but Yoon. She dropped out of college, working in a coffee shop just to be near Yoon. Yoon has already established his life. He's gone though the stage of life that MR should be going though now. At 24 MR has not even started to live her life yet and this is what Yoon was trying to get across to her. What he said to her went straight over her head. Why? Her age, her life experiences, and her state of maturity. Even though Yoon lost his wife and was devastated by that lost, losing his friends would be a greater lost. His friends are the best things that happen in his life. Can or will he step over the line to be with MR and risk losing the best relationships of his lifetime.

‘A Gentleman’s Dignity’ May Temporarily Suspend Broadcast
Despite enjoying viewership ratings over 20 percent, the highly-rated drama is in danger of temporarily having to hold off airing its new episode until after the 2012 London Olympics.
After already deciding to temporarily suspend the airing of its dramas on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights in the primetime 10 p.m. slot to make way for the London Olympics, A Gentleman’s Dignity may also follow suit and not air in its weekend night slot.
A representative for SBS said, “With SBS broadcasting the Olympics, A Gentleman’s Dignity’s is being contemplated to possibly suspend broadcasting beginning next week.”
If a broadcast suspension is confirmed, it’s likely this weekend’s 17th and 18th episode will air as usual and then the remaining two episodes will not air until the second week of August.
