[08.11.12][news] KBS2's Kko kko Tour to be axed due to low ratings
KBS2's Happy Sunday segment Kkokko Tour Single Single is slated to be cancelled. The production team behind the show said, "We're still planning the program that will replace Kkokko Tour when it's taken off-air."
"There seems to be no way of improving the ratings of 4-5%, and with the current dismal economic conditions, we have to cancel the show to cut costs."
MCs Tak Jae Hoon and Shin Jung Hwan carried on with new segment Kkokko Tour - which replaced Immortal Classics - and the dating programme gathers male and female celebrities on a short trip for dates and eventually pairs them off as couples.
The first trip to Saipan featured guests Park Jung Ah, Tiffany, Gil, Shin Dong Wook, Amy, Jung Shi Ah, Hong In Young, Mun Sung Min, Lee Minwoo and Tim; while the second trip to Jeju - currently being aired on Sundays now - features guests Jo Dong Hyuk, Hwang Chan Sung, Jin Bora, Kim Shi Hyang, Yuri, Shin Dong Wook, Jung Shi Ah, Gil, Lee Minwoo and Amy.
