Im Soo Jung and Shin Ha Kyun in talks to star in drama!
Are you excited? Because I am so so so excited. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but news has it that (my favorites) Shin Ha Kyun and Im Soo Jung are in talks to be the leads in a new romance drama.
The drama, called All About My Love, is looking to premiere in April 2013 and wil be about two politicians falling in love. The elephant in the room of this whole thing is that they are from two different political parties-Shin would play Kim Soo Young from the Conservative Party while Im would play Oh So Young from the Liberal Party.
I’m seriously hoping these two confirm these roles, because not only will Im Soo Jung be making a drama comeback (after nine years!), she and Shin Ha Kyun would be ridiculously flawless as a couple with extremely clashing personalities/idealogies. It’s also a nice little message that two different parties can work together and create a good thing and with the right actors I’m sure that will come across in a more profound way.
Now, that you’ve dangled this pairing in front of my face, Dramaland, you must come through or it would just be too cruel. Too cruel.

Hong Soo-hyeon in "Everything About My Relationship"
Actress Hong Soo-hyeon is starring in the upcoming SBS drama "Everything About My Relationship".
Several sources claim that Hong Soo-hyeon is starring in the drama as the daughter of the owner of a newspaper company in which she is a reporter at as well. She is the character that likes Sin Ha-gyoon.
The other casts include, Sin Ha-gyoon. Im Soo-jeong, Kim Jeong-nan, Cheon Ho-jin, Kim Jeong-tae and more. The final casting should be done soon enough and the drama will start making in February.
"Everything About My Relationship" is based on an original novel by writer Lee Eung-joon. It is a romantic comedy that unravels the secret relationships of the members of parliament in the fun way.
Hong Soo-hyeon was recently in the SBS drama "Salaryman" and Channel A "Goodbye Dear Wife".

Leads cast for rom-com All About My Romance
SBS’s upcoming romantic-comedy drama series All About My Romance has settled upon its leads, and while that means Im Soo-jung is out (having considered the role), we do have confirmation that Shin Ha-kyun (Brain) will be taking the show after all. Joining him as the leading lady is Han Hye-jin (Thorn Birds, Syndrome).
The project is an opposites-attract romance set in the world of politics, which isn’t a milieu that automatically screams love and laughs. But that’s exactly what this writer-PD duo, who produced Protect the Boss together, hope to do by drawing parallels between the political arena and the romantic. Not only will our leads be total opposites in personality and ideology, but also political parties. Ooh. That… could get dangerous.
Shin Ha-kyun’s character is Kim Soo-young, a former judge and a newly elected parliamentarian belonging to the conservative New Korea Party. Confident and prickly in nature, as a judge he hated being pressured by superior forces and thus entered politics… ’cause you know there’s no pressure there or anything. As a new assemblyman, Kim Soo-young finds himself constantly crossing paths (and clashing) with another new parliamentarian, Noh Min-young, of the Green Progressive Party.
Noh Min-young entered politics after the death of her older sister, who was a strong presidential candidate. So when all that crackling romantic tension with Kim Soo-young leads to actual dating, she’s careful to keep the relationship a secret, since she’s already under the scrutiny of the opposing party and, oh yeah, the whole nation. Ha, I bet the upstanding judge isn’t used to being anybody’s dirty little secret.
So this could be cute, and funny, and quite a bit different from what we’ve been seeing in dramaland. Maybe, if done well to make the most of its potential—which is always a big if. I like the concept and could see it making for light humor and sweet romance, as well as being able to swing more serious when needed. Sort of like West Wing meets City Hall. (I’m also thinking fondly of the cracked-out secret congresswoman romance in 30 Rock, although that level of zaniness is too much to hope for in a K-drama, I suppose.) And since politics is already a pretty high-stakes arena, my big hope is that the drama won’t need to reach into that grab bag of standard angsty melo tricks to draw out the big dramatics. *crosses fingers*
All About My Romance is wrapping up its casting and plans to begin production soon, for an April premiere.

Sin Ha-gyoon and Han Hye-jin are going to work together in the SBS drama "Everything About My Relationship" according to SBS.
These two are bringing high expectations to the drama as they have been experienced in dramas and movies.
Sin Ha-gyoon will take on the role of Kim Soo-yeong, a member of parliament.
Han Hye-jin who is currently the MC of the SBS TV program "Healing Camp", wil take on the role of Noh Min-yeong, an apposing member of parliament.
"Everything About My Relationship" is about the secret relationship between two opposing members of party. It's a romantic comedy drama which draws politicians in the human way.
The drama production claims, "We hope to show two different images at the same time by starring politicians in a romantic comedy drama".
"Everything About My Relationship" will be aired in April after "Wind Blows in Winter".

Lee Min Jung to Romance Shin Ha Kyun in “All About My Romance”
After losing three potential leading ladies, upcoming SBS drama “All About My Romance” finally secured its female lead. It’s been confirmed that Lee Min Jung will star opposite Shin Ha Kyun in the new romantic comedy series.
“All About My Romance” is set in the world of politics and is described as a love story about a congressman and congresswoman in opposite parties. Because of their political differences, they decide to keep their relationship a secret from the entire country.
Lee Min Jung will play No Min Young, who entered the political world after her sister’s death. Bright and full of energy, she is the head of the Progressive Labor Party, which only has two members in the National Assembly. Regarding her new character, Lee Min Jung expressed, “I was captivated with No Min Young’s positive and ambitious personality. Not only that, she’s also very delicate and sensitive. I really liked the story because of its distinctive setting and characters. The plot appears to have funny episodes that will create laughter warm people’s hearts.”
A representative of the production team stated, “We believe that Lee Min Jung’s lively image matched well with that of No Min Young’s. We’re certain that Lee Min Jung will make her into a very charming character.”
Meanwhile, “All About My Romance” will air Wednesday and Thursday nights on SBS once Song Hye Gyo’s “That Winter, The Wind Blows” ends.
