7/23 [news] Jun Jin to star as main lead of MBC Dramanet historical series 'Byul Soon Geom (Chosun Police)'
MBC Dramanet announced on the 23rd that Jun Jin has been cast as the main lead of the 20 episode investigative documentary series 'Byul Soon Geom (Chosun Police).'
In 'Byul Soon Geom' which follows the story of investigative procedures in the late Chosun era, Jun Jin will play the role of Kim Sa Yool, an elite detective with a sharp mind. He accepts the female lead character Seo Eun who is the daughter of his father's enemy.
The series originally aired in 2005 starring Jung Yoo Seok which at the time gathered popularity amongst mania viewers but ended early at six episodes.
MBC Dramanet commented, "We were able to create a new 20 episode series under the same title thanks to the support of the viewers."
The production crew says, "We will use the scientific methods of investigation at the time, along with various conflicts between different parties."

He's in one of the hottest groups in K-pop, Shinhwa... And known as their wittiest member, Kim Dong-wan! The singer released his first-EVER solo album, 'Kimdongwan Is'. On today's STAR FOCUS, we sit down for a up-close-and-personal interview with Kim Dong-wan.
At an auditorium in Seoul, we found tons of fans waiting to watch Kim's solo performance.
Kim Dong-wan is making his way back into the industry - not as a member of Shinhwa, but all by himself! We could see that he was working hard, this was a new step in his life.
'Handkerchief' is the title track to Kim's first solo album.
It's a lyrical ballad, and has been received warmly with the release of his album.
The singer even acted in the music video for 'Handkerchief' and showed everyone how dedicated he really was.
Kim Dong-wan is causing quite a sensation with the quality of his vocals on his new album. He sounds a lot different than when he sang with Shinhwa.
Kim had worked SO hard, he even got laryngitis a couple times!
Besides his main song, 'Handkerchief', Kim's SECOND title track is on a roll as well - 'Scream'. It's a Kim Dong-wan style remake of a song by the Japanese rock group, Glay.
His solo album is titled 'Kimdongwan Is' for a reason...
The entire album contains everything about the singer, and individual, Kim Dong-wan, as the singer explained to us himself.
Now, if we're going to talk about the STAR, Kim Dong-wan, we can't leave out his second career... acting!
He started in the 2002 TV drama, 'Heaven's Children', and took the lead in the 2004 movie, 'Spin Kick'. Kim has been expanding his repertoire ever since, but the singer-slash-actor tells us that he still has a lot to learn.
As a member of Shinhwa, an actor, and now a solo K-pop star, Kim Dong-wan is adored by a great NUMBER of fans! He's one of those celebrities who strives to make his dreams into a reality. But there was still a dream he hadn't achieved just yet ?

Chinese actress and pop singer Vicki Zhao shoots a music video with South Korean singer and dancer Jun Jin in Shanghai, on Wednesday, July 18, 2007.
Chinese actress and pop singer Vicki Zhao is hoping to pass for a dancer in a music video for her song "Qia Qia Ai."
Appearing on Wednesday in Shanghai wearing an eye-catching white wig, the singer collaborated with popular South Korean dancer Jun Jin for the first time in the video.
Jun Jin, who debuted as a dancer in the K-pop band Shinhwa, offered hand-to-hand tips to help Vicki Zhao play her role of a bar dancer.
The music video is being produced by veteran Chinese musician, Li Quan.

In conjunction with his new album, Shin Hye Sung is holding his first solo concerts in Korea and Japan, and the response has been amazing. The tickets for his August 11 and 12 concerts in Seoul were snatched up in a mere 30 minutes, and his 4-city Japan concert tour in late August has also sold out.
The Beginning, New Days is the long-awaited follow-up to Shin Hye Sung's debut solo album, Love of May, released back in 2005. The new album features more of the touching ballads the singer has become known for, including First Love and "Soliloquy". Highlighting Shin Hye Sung's beautiful vocals, "The Day I Met For the First Time" is written, composed, and arranged by Park Chang Hyun, who previously wrote "The Same Idea" and "Hidden Camera" for his first album.

[Jun Jin To Appear In Music Video With Chinese Star Jo Mi]
Shinhwa's Jun Jin will star as the male lead in Chinese artist Jo Mi's solo music video for the title track of her 6th album. Jo Mi will play the female lead. The music video tells the story of a couple who meets while dancing. Jun Jin personally choreographed his and Jo Mi's moves. The music video will be released along with Jo Mi's album in late August. As for Jun Jin, he plans to release a solo single album in late August in Korea, Japan and China.

Shinhwa To Hold Large Scale Asia Concert To End 9 Years Of Activities, August 14th, 2007
6 member group Shinhwa will hold a large scale Asia Concert to end 9 years of activities.
Shinhwa will stage 2 days concert on 8th and 9th December, in Japan Saitama follow by a concert in China, shanghai ,which date is to be confirm
A concert spokeman "this is the members last concert before enlistment. It will be held in Japan and China and will be a large scale concert to meet the oversea fans. The members also will show off new dances"
For this concert, Shinwha will sing 3 new songs that has yet to be release. the 3 songs will be record in their 10 album which will be release in March 2008
Shinhwa debuted in 1998 and is the longest boyband running.
Eric, Dongwan, Junjin, Minwoo and Andy will enlist in 2008.
They will release an album to celebrate their 10th anniversary before enlisting.
