Organized by Universal Music Japan, a campaign to help 4minute debut in Japan is currently ongoing. Fans have to register for this 4minute mail magazine and they will be presented with 4minute standby / welcome flashlight (with release countdown). This mail magazine will have the latest updates of 4minute, including studio recordings and personal information.
So why campaign? That's because a large group of people will be mobilized in welcoming 4minute in their country. The best part is that they have the information, they have the props, they are fully prepared.

many 4nias recently questioned Playcube’s reliability. The entertainment company did not deliver fanclub goodies on time nor revealed 4minute upcoming plans as it committed itself for March but postponed the release to April 2nd . They also blame Cube for not updating enough the official fancafe : all things related to the girls' latest official endorsement for Metacone are nowhere to be seen. Indeed, a suggestion box was recently opened for Korean fans in order to collect ideas for the fancafe and for organizing –on and offline- events in the future.
The fuss might have started back in late January when it was announced through digital news that not only Jiyoon’s solo single was in preparation but also that 4minute was working on a mini-album to be unleashed in March. Things may have got even bigger this month with several online newspapers announcing the girl group’s comeback in mid-May.
In general, Playcube’s too-much-silent attitude embarrasses, from the incomplete and late-released schedules to being impassive to wrong information about the members (cf. an SBS sports commentator recently). Let alone the much-anticipated promotions in several Asian countries.
That does not prevent anyone from being excited for the girls’ upcoming activities, well, the few we are aware and certain of : Metacone endorsement (MTV Metafriends ?!), a song for the drama Personal Taste, their Japanese debut, Hyunah whining on Invincible Youth...

[10.04.05] 4minute commemorates the Arbor Day, NEWS
On April 5th, girl group 4minute commemorated the Arbor Day with the newspaper Donga, in charge of the ‘Love the rose of Sharon, love the nation’ event since 1985. In Jongno-gu, 4minute gave hibiscus – the nation’s flower – seeds to Seoul citizens who also got the opportunity to get photo shots with the members.
Even though, the Arbor Day is no longer a day off in Korea, it is still greatly celebrated in workplaces and schools. Besides the symbolic gesture, the trees planted throughout the whole country every year permit to emit a cleaner air and to fight climate change.
