Yoo Seung Ho and Kim So Eun in Fourth Period Murder Mystery

YooSeung Ho and Kim So Eun will soon be appearing in their first movietogether as the main leads which is called Fourth Period MurderMystery. The thriller movie which is currently in the midst of filming,has been scheduled for a July release, with many fans waiting to see ifthey can translate their child star success onto the big screen.

YooSeung Ho is a rebellious high school student and together with Kim SoEun, they get involved into a murder case on campus. The thriller seesthem having to find the real culprits within the 1 hour deadline, wherefailure to do so would mean that they would be labelled as theculprits. The movie will also involve a thrilling chase scene that issure to excite movie-goers. A member of the production team expressed,"Their (Yoo Seung Ho & Kim So Eun) acting were very natural fromthe beginning probably because they were child stars for a long time.Please anticipate this movie and watch out for their pairing as theyare 2 of the hottest rising stars in the industry at the moment."

Kim So Eun appears as 5th KYIFF ambassador

Actress Kim So Eun who was appointed the ambassador of the 5th KoreaInternational Youth Film Festival (KIYFF) on 29th April, fulfilled herduties on 3rd June at the opening of the festival for promotionalactivities. Kim So Eun had been picked by the organizers because of herprofessionalism and healthy image as an actress. They felt that Kim SoEun would be a perfect role model for youths and also reflects well onthe festival's image. So Eun had a fan signing event before the openingceremony while Super Junior also added to the festivities with aperformance.

Fans Celebrate Kim So Eun’s Coming-of-age Day

Thenewspaper companies must be loving it, judging from the way that fansare showing their love for their idols these days without battling aneyelid. Despite not being her birthday (6th September), fans of Kim SoEun took out a newspaper advertisement for their idol on 18th May tocelebrate her coming-of-age day and becoming an adult at the age of 20in Korea. Besides a photo of Kim So Eun from her Boys Before Flowersdays, there were also words of encouragement:

"Will foreverremember the beautiful memories that Chu Ga Eul left behind in BoysBefore Flowers!", "Forever in support of actress Kim So Eun."

KimSo Eun who is currently in the midst of filming for The Man Who Can'tGet Married and Fourth Period Murder Mystery, talked about her newprojects when we visited her on the set of The Man Who Can't GetMarried on the 15th.

"I currently filming for The Man Who Can'tGet Married which will premiere on 15th June. I am working really hardright now towards my goal of becoming an even more mature, outgoing andbubbly female than the one you saw in Boys Before Flowers."

Inher new drama, Kim So Eun is not going to be a high school girl anymorebut a working female in her late 20s, and she is making extra efforttowards her appearance to look like the real thing. So Eun expressed,"I have put on thicker make-up, more mature clothing, etc. I guess thisis a prerequisite for an actresses when you go through an image change.I can't quite get used to it nor feel comfortable but then again, Ibecome a high school girl again in Fourth Period Murder Mystery...hehe." So Eun looked like she was really uncomfortable with her newimage. But we can tell that she is a pretty meticulous person, sinceshe was grasping her script tightly and reading it, while doing theinterview, taking extra care that it didn't fell out of her hands.

"Isaw the original adaptation and felt that it was really interesting.There were some exaggerated comedy elements that are unique with Japanin that adaptation so I am now working really hard to try and displaythat in my own style instead."

There might be a huge disparityin age (22 years) if you add the differences in age between Ji Jin Heeand Yoo Seung plus Kim So Eun. But So Eun said, "It has been anenjoyable working experience with the both of them and there areabsolutely no problems at all despite the age differences. (Yoo) SeungHo has been guiding and taking good care of me like an older brotherwhile it has been a breeze communicating with Ji Jin Hee oppa at thefilm site. Please continue to watch over my development!"
