Hamasaki Ayumi to release summer best album “A SUMMER BEST”

Urata Naoya of pop group AAA recently tweeted that pop diva Hamasaki Ayumi will be releasing a new best album this summer titled “A SUMMER BEST“. It seems the reason why he tweeted this information was because the song that he did with Ayumi, “ANother song feat. URATA NAOYA” will be included in the disc.

Since summer is here they have decided to compile her biggest hits fans would want to hear during the summer time! Songs include “BLUE BIRD“, “Greatful days“, “July 1st“, “Boys & Girls“, and “evolution“. She will include a cover of TRF’s “Happening Here” and a new song “You & Me“.

The limited edition will include a DVD that has live footage from ‘a-nation’ from 2002 to 2011, video clips and more.

Hamasaki Ayumi to release new mini-album “LOVE” as the first of five consecutive releases



To celebrate her 15th anniversary on April 8, 2013, Hamasaki Ayumi plans to release something new every month on the 8th until April.

First up is a new mini-album titled “LOVE”. The mini-album will be released on November 8th, marking the first of her five consecutive releases. Hamasaki has written three new songs “Song 4 u”, “Melody”, and “Missing”. The mini-album will also include remixes of her hit song “You & Me”.

“Song 4 u” is the theme song for video game “Tales of Xillia 2”, which you can check out some previews for below.

There will be three versions for the mini-album; [CD+DVD], [CD], and [CD (Tails edition)].  The track list for the CD will be the same for all three versions, and the DVD for [CD+DVD] version will include the video clips for “Song 4 u” and “Melody”, as well as the making clip of “Song 4 u.”  The jacket cover for [CD (tales edition)] will be a special “Tales of Xillia 2″ version.

Hamasaki Ayumi to release another mini-album in December



To celebrate her 15th anniversary next April, Hamasaki Ayumi recently started her 5-month consecutive release project with her mini-album, “LOVE” (released November 8th).

Her second release will be another mini-album and it will be titled “again“. It’s set for release on December 8th, and it will contain a total of 12 tracks including 4 brand new songs.

There will be 2 versions for the mini-album: CD+DVD and CD-Only. The DVD will contain PVs for her new songs “Wake me up“, “snowy kiss“, and “Sweet scar“.

Additionally, Hamasaki will be holding her customary countdown live this year. The live will be held on December 29th, 30th, and 31st at Yoyogi National Gymnasium.

Hamasaki Ayumi dating backup dancer 6 years her junior



On November 14, singer Hamasaki Ayumi (34) and her backup dancer Uchiyama Maroka (28) each announced on their individual blogs that they are currently dating.

Their relationship will be covered in the November 15 issue of weekly magazine ‘Josei Seven‘, but on November 14, she announced on her fan club’s website blog: “Because I did not want to keep this secret from everyone, I [now] choose to clarify it. Maro-chan and I are in a serious relationship.”

Maro, who has served as Hamasaki’s backup dancer since the summer of 2007, also stated, “I will continue to take it as seriously as I currently do.”

In January of this year, Hamasaki divorced Australian actor Manuel Schwartz to whom she was married to for one year.
