hi...tqs 4 PM saya...kita senegeri rupanya...
saya ni tak ler fanatik ngan LEON LAI ni...suka2 gitu jer...masa konsert kat Genting dulu saya dpt pas/tag percuma...so boleh la tgk...1st day dok depan sebab tak ramai lagi org...2nd day kena dok belakang sebab memang ramai org masa tuh...ada sorang amoi tu siap mintak pas / tag yg saya pakai utk kenangan...tapi saya tak kasi dgn alasan kena pulang balik...walhal saya yg nak simpan sebenarnya...hehehehe...pas tu masih ada lagi...sayang nak buang...
CD2 LL pun saya tak beli sgt...cuma ada 1 cd & 1 kaset jer...yg tajuk dia SANDWICH ke hapa & yg TOMMY HILFIGER sponsor tu...kompilasi album...dan saya ada 1 vcd mtv dia...nak nyanyi tu almaklum ler..hehehehe...start minat mamat ni sejak 1999...
film dia pun kekadang jer tgk...cuma 1 jer yg saya sanggup pi tgk wayang iaitu citer 3...yg 3 director dan 3 cerita dr 3 negara tu...cerita seram...tak silap LL menang best actor citer tu kan...???
fyi, im quite close wif chinese so may be bcoz of that i terminat kat LL ni...dia ni tak la hensem tapi cute dan manis tu boleh la...hehehehe |

Leon went to the Communication University of China in Beijing yesterday to attend the "National Student Creative Competition" jointly organised by his East Asia Record Production Company and Sohu.com. Leon said that his Mandarin album will be released in July or August, with Jonathan Lee as the producer. To encourage students to compose songs, the winning song will be recorded in Leon's album and the winner of the competition will receive a composer and lyricist contract and RMB 20,000.
As it was rare for Leon to appear in an university, he attracted hundreds of students and the situation was once chaotic. The organiser specially sent 20 security personnel to maintain the order. Leon also planted a tree with the students, meaning to nurture new talents.
Leon was asked about his younger dressing for that day and whether it was because he was attending a student activity. Leon smiled and said, "Originally, my assistant helped me choose a set of clothes that have university student feel, but I felt that I could wear a bit more casual to the university, so I did not choose the clothes prepared by my assistant." Then, he also told the students, "I have never felt that I'm old!"
A student asked Leon when he records his albums, whether the recording facilities are very important. Leon said, "Of course! Composing and singing are important, but recording skills are also very important. For example, Chan Fai Yeung worked in the recording studio before he becomes a very successful and famous producer. Therefore, hope everyone will work hard." |

The movie "Seven Swords" will be shown during the July summer vacation. In the movie, Leon played a martial arts expert and besides wielding a sword and fighting, there are also many scenes of riding a horse.
As known, Leon and the filming crew met with many obstacles while filming the horse-riding scenes in the desert in Xinjiang. There was a filming crew who fell off the horse but luckily was only injured slightly. As for the horse which Leon was riding in the movie, it was the most bad-tempered among all the horses. It did not like to be ridden on. When Leon tried his first ride on the horse, the horse had a fit of uncontrollable temper and almost made Leon fell down, scaring all the personnel present.
However, even though Leon almost got hurt, he did not request to change the horse. Instead, he spent time talking to the staff attending to the horse to understand the horse's temperament. Then he comforted the horse and talked to it, and finally he tamed the wild horse, a move admired by all the staff present. |

Leon yesterday departed for Japan to attend the press conference and promotional events held there today for the movie "Infernal Affairs III".
News 2:
The newcomer of East Asia Record, Janice released her debut album, "Day & Night" today. There are 13 songs, all cover versions of Leon's famous songs, recorded in this album. As the public had only been hearing her voice but not seeing her face, Janice will reveal her face to the media for the first time at her mini concert tomorrow. Coincidentally, tomorrow is also her 23rd birthday and she hoped that her birthday this year will leave her with the most beautiful memories. She said, "I know that Leon will rush back to watch my performance. I'm very happy but also afraid that I will be scared on seeing him, and don't know what to do." |

Leon returned to Hong Kong after Infernal Affairs 3 promotion and commercial filming in Japan to support his new label mate Janice and her first mini concert. She sang several of Leon's old songs and performed a duet with Charles Ying.
Last night, Janice performed at her <<Janice Mini Live>> in front of a full house in Lan Kwai Fong. Invited as guest was male newcomer Charles Ying. Leon returned from Japan in time to support her. Besides him, Mark, Justin, Peter Lam, at17, and Nicola Cheung were there. The whole crew celebrated Janice's 23rd birthday at Causeway Bay.
Leon appeared when Janice sang her last song. She immediately said, "Thanks Leon!". Afterwards, Leon went on stage and hugged her. He helped her cut the cake. Leon praised, "My first time singing certainly wasn't as good as Janice. She has the talent. Media must give an opportunity to her." Mark sees Janice bending over to blow the candles and joked, "Don't bend too far. There are a lot of cameras."
Regarding Leon scolded her for being late before, Janice said, "He scold at me for my good. I won't get mad." Leon admitted and said, "There are days females are inconvenient, but don't allow people to wait. However, I do favor her! (There are news that you weren't happy that the photographer snap pictures of Janice resembling Miriam Yeung?) I was only joking. It's probably the photographer is Miriam's fan, but Janice is a newcomer. Supposed to give her space. She doesn't look like Miriam so it's unfair for her." When Mark described her as mixture of Teresa Chiang and Sammi Cheng, Leon said, "Teresa Chiang? Who's that?" Regarding Faye Wong's wedding plan, Leon said, "I'm not a '8 gung' (nosy guy). I don't know anything." |

HK star Leon Lai visits East Timor
HONG KONG: Local pop star Leon Lai has visited East Timor to raise awareness about child poverty for the United Nations Children's Fund (Unicef), the group said yesterday.
Footage of Lai's visit, which began on Sunday, will be used for a television fund-raiser, Unicef said in a statement.
The group said nearly half the children in East Timor under five suffer from malnutrition and 85 of every 1,000 infants die at birth.
East Timor is still recovering from the bloody aftermath of its independence from Indonesia.
Vengeful Indonesian forces and their militia proxies killed nearly 2,000 people after a UN-organised plebiscite in 1999 that ended Indonesia's 24-year occupation.
Separately, Unicef said McDonald's outlets in this territory will sell wristbands to raise funds for the organisation to buy vaccines for children in developing countries. |

Leon has a new commercial with "3" again. Recently, Leon went to Japan to film a new series of TV commercial for "3", titled "Sharing". The theme of the ad is on the relationship between father and son. In the ad, due to lack of communication with his strict father, the relationship between Leon and his father gradually becomes estranged. Leon even went to went to somewhere far away to pursue his dream. In the end, through 3G video communication, the love between father and son is re-ignited.
This time, the female lead in the ad is Kate Tsui and Leon rarely appeared in the ad with a fisherman image. |
