The yearly SUCCESS Gala Charity Concert was held in Vancouver last night. Leon, Miriam, Nicholas Tse, Yumiko Cheng, and others performed while Lydia Shum and Eric Tsang hosted the show. Leon was last to perform which brought the atmosphere to the highest.

About 30 fans were waiting at the airport for Leon returning to HK from Vancouver. It was the 6th day of the new year and many female fans presented red packets to their idol. But little known, whether jetlagged or not a good sleep on the airplance, Leon didn't accept the red packets immediately and said, "Can you give them to me later? My pressure has not adjusted yet." Leon accepted the red packets after several steps.

A Spring Tea 40-table banquet was hosted by joint establishments Media Asia and East Asia Entertainment. Including prizes for raffles, HK$2 million were spent. A lot of celebrities attended the event like Leon, Andy Lau, Albert Yeung, Richie Ren, Anthony Wong, Edison Chen, Shawn Yue, Andrew Lau, Nicola Cheung, Chapman To, and more. Besides games and singing by Richie and Terence Yin, the highest point was when Andy pulled Leon onto the stage to duet.

After pulling Leon onto the stage, Andy said, "We have never sang a duet. Don't know if there's a chance in the future to get best duet song at the music awards? Then, our fans can hand-in-hand support us." Both Skykings sang Sam Hui's <<A Hero's Words>>. Nicola Cheung and Yuki Tsu acted as fans and presented them with flowers. Andy invited Richie and Gordan Lam onto the stage to sing <<The Moon Represents My Heart>>. Later, the MC Jerry Lamb requested the boss Peter Lam to sing a song. All of them sang <<Foolish Child>> together. Andy said, "Let me introduce to you what's called a foolish child. Like to make films is a foolish child." Unwilling to show weakness, Peter said, "Do you really want to sing a duet with Leon to release an album? It's impossible to sign with another company. Sign with me!" Leon joked, "Must list on the contract that you can't sue him."
In addition, Leon will hold a concert in October. Ideas for the concert are undecided. The number of series is still unknown. Regards to the audience's mood, he will do his best.

Leon attended the memorial service of Lam Bak Yan (ATV boss and father of Peter Lam Kin Ngok).

The "New Territories Walk" organised by HK Community Chest was held at Shatin race course yesterday morning. The organiser invited the Chief Secretary for Administration, Donald Tsang to be the guest of honour, and the Community Chest committee members, Leon Lai and others to host the ribbon-cutting ceremony. ATV also formed a team to take part in this charity walk and when the ceremony began, Donald Tsang and Leon shook hands with the members of each team and when they reached the ATV team, Leon even took a photograph together with them.

While walking, both of them were surrounded by the media and the citizens, and the security personnel had to maintain the order. After walking for about 10 minutes plus, both of them returned to their cars and left. Leon had supported Community Chest for many years and had attended the Walk for Millions for so many times that even he himself could not remember how many times. And every time, he could not complete the whole walk. Once quite long ago, he completed about 80% and it was already not bad. Asked whether Leon would participate in a marathon to raise funds like Carol Cheng, Leon said, "Last time for the South Asia Tsunami, the Hong Kong people were able to raise an amount of fund equivalent to a few years of charity funds in a short time, which is very commendable. But some people might feel that they have already donated money before, and thus overlook that there are still many people in Hong Kong who need help. Indirectly, it causes certain difficulty for Community Chest in raising funds, so the Community Chest will use various methods to encourage people to donate."

Recently, it was rumoured that Faye Wong and Li Yapeng were getting married. As Faye's good friend, Leon said he did not know and did not want to mind other people's business. When the topic changed to Leon's work, he also did not want to say much. He only revealed that he currently had work on hand and it could only be announced later. As for the reports that said that he would be holding a concert in November. Leon said that he did not know how the schedule of the Hong Kong Coliseum would be, it could be next year if the schedule is not right.

Leon attended an art exhibition with a group of students.

Leon was invited to attend the "Impressionism: Treasures from the National Collection of France" art exhibition and appreciate the exhibition pieces together with a group of students. He said that he seldom looked at art pieces, but he knew that the Hong Kong Museum of Art had set up an educational corner in the exhibition hall to teach students about the history of famous art pieces, which is a very good move. Leon himself does not collect famous art pieces. However, he pointed out that his assistant, Alan, could sketch very well, and could definitely sketch a portrait like Leonardo drawing a sketch of Kate Winslet in "Titanic", but he had never become the model for Alan's drawing.

Leon said that he could not draw well, but when he was a student, he unintentionally won the school's drawing champion as he had accidentally spilled some ink on his drawing which gave a nice finishing touch. He also felt that albums and movies had to have an artistic element, but he denied that he is an artist, he only very respects art.

Recently, there were reports saying the Andy Lau will replace him to film Peter Chan's movie, "Perhaps Love". Leon knew that Peter Chan would film such a story but had never asked him to act in it. On the other hand, about Jacky Cheung being a father again and Richie Jen will also going to be a father soon, Leon also very supported it. He said, "Good! Hong Kong needs more people now. (Is it that we should respond to Donald Tsang's suggestion to have three children?) Yes! (Then will you respond to it?) I don't have this ability temporarily."

About Tung Chee Hwa resigning from his post of the Chief Executive, Leon said, "The most important thing is to do your part. The society is such a big circle, you'll regret if you don't give a vote of trust. It's too fast to have a general election for the Chief Executive. If the one voted out is not good, would everyone then keep their mouths shut?" He felt that the citizens' knowledge of the senior officials are only on the surface, and it was not yet the time for general election. He said, "Have to wait for time to prove it, it's most important to be realistic. When one has experience, everyone can see it. And Mr Tsang is a person 100% worth trusting and supporting."

Konsep & rekabentuk CD kali ni sma seperti versi kantonis "Leon Dawn" sebelum ini, cuma Leon merakam sebahagian lagu Kantonis ke bahasa Mandarin... maka lahirlah album ini. Bagi yang tak faham bahasa Kantonis, mereka pasti akan mendapatkan album ini. Bagi yg tak reti kedua2 bahasa mcm aku... asal rasa sedap aku main beli jer... janji tak miss setiap album yg dikeluarkan Leon! Performance Leon okey jer.... cuma aku rasa versi Kantonis lebih sedap di dengar. Utk tak mahu buatkan pembeli CD rasa membazir dptkan album kali ni, Leon menambah satu lagi track bonus menjadi 12 (asalnya hanya 11), serta melalui DVD yang juga didapati secara percuma, Leon menambah sebuah klip video baru (dari lagu album OST Leaving Me Loving You) dan sebuah klip making of sebagai bonus. Gerenti ada... walaupun hakikatnya Leon nampak macam mengopakkan poket para peminatnya, tapi album istimewa valentine ni ternyata Leon mengeluarkan over budget sbb, Leon telah menyertakan seutas rantai silver bernilai RM144 secara percuma kepada para pembeli CD dgn edisi terhad - siapa cepat dia dapat! Rantai tersebut merupakan hadiah Valentine ikhlas daripada Leon utk para penyokong setianya... nasib baik aku cepat2 dptkan CD ni... rantai dia okey... cantik sampai tak sampai ati nak pakai!! Nak tengok rupa packaging necklace tu? Boley... ni aku dah tolong scan...



Harga CD ini tetap seperti harga normal, sebab itulah CD ni memang Leon tak pulang modal langsung. CD ni konsepnya sama macam versi asal (Krismas), tapi Leon juga tak lupa menambah beberapa track bonus utk CD kali ni. Beliau menambah sebuah lagi MTV dan sebuah lagi lagu dalam versi piano. Album istimewa Valentine ini bagaimanapun dah habis dijual dalam masa yang singkat! Selepas sold out, Leon masih mengeluarkan set CD ini tanpa rantai percuma pada 8 Februari yg lepas... haa... barulah pulang modal sket... hehe.. otak bisnes, pasai tu dia cepat kaye!!

Lupa nak bagitau.... semua CD Leon yg dibawah label "A MUSIC" memang susah nak dapatkan di Malaysia....kalo nak cari, aku suggest gi cari kat any Tower Records.

And semua lagu Leon dijamin best... kalo minat nak dptkan versi mp3 nyer (selected songs only), P.M. ler aku, yek! MP3 takper... tapi kalo audio CD jgn suruh aku buat duplicate yek... kalo Leon Lai tau, mampos aku kena sue laks... hehe!

Ari tu kiter gi kat Tower Records Mid Valley. Tak tau la kalo kat branch lain ade stok ke tidak sbb bergantung la kat tokey kedai tu nak import CD tu terus dari Hong Kong. Tapi kalo berminat sangat, buleh mintak tolong tokey kedai tu orderkan... pandai2 la negociate!

Cassio kalo betoi nak copy MP3 Leon Lai tu, kiter buleh tolong burn... takde dikenakan sebarang bayaran sbb kiter just tolong Leon Lai promosi lagu2 yg best kat mereka yg baru nak berkenalan dgn muzik Leon Lai... mcm Cassio lah!

Mana tau suatu kot2 Cassio dah tertarik dgn mutu muzik Leon Lai nih, so next time secara automatik Cassio akan rasa terdorong & lebih berkeyakinan utk beli sendiri CD Leon Lai. Leon Lai ni tak tipu oarng punyer... lagu dier dari track 1 sampai track akhir memang best & istimewa.

Orang mungkin fikir kiter minat bermati-matian kat Leon sbb dier good-looking.... tapi pada saya, Leon tu takde la hensem sgt pun... biasa jer. Bak kata seorang forumer sebelum ni, muka cam Leon tu bersepah ada kat mesia nih!! Cuba dengar dulu muzik Leon Lai... up-to-date sbb dia menggunakan khidmat seorang komposer tetap & bertauliah ~ Mark Lui. Kiter jamin, sesaper yg beli CD Leon akan rasa puas & berbaloi. Blom try, blom tau!!

Leon attended "Community Chest Dress Casual Day Cheque and Award Presentation Ceremony" yesterday. The Acting Chief Executive, Donald Tsang and Cheng Hoi Chuen also attended the event. When Leon was trying his new mobile phone, Cheng *** Chuen who was beside Leon borrowed it from him to have a look. Both of them seemed to have similar interest in new technology.

Leon said he did not have a long chat with Donald Tsang. As for whether the term for the next Chief Executive should be 2 or 5 years, Leon said, "It's the best not to argue about this question anymore. If one is doing it well, he would contribute to the society even if he do it only for one day. However, if one is not doing it well, it's useless even if he do it for 10 years."

As Leon had work on hand, he could not attend the Entertainment Expo Hong Kong held last night. He said, "The number of Hong Kong films being produced now is very little. Hope that this expo could help to boost the local film industry." Asked whether he had received Faye Wong's wedding invitation, he said, "Don't talk about such things today." On the other hand, at "The 2nd SINA Online Ad Awards" held today, Leon received the "Online Ads Cool Man" award.

Okies.... dah dpt alamat.... tunggu jer, nanti sampai la CD tu kat umah Cassio! Kiter ader sertakan mtv Leon percuma... just nak share mtv Leon favourite kiter tuh! nanti biler dah dpt, habaq kat kiter tau!!

Pastu jgn luper bagi komen kat sini.... lagu Leon mana yg Cassio paling suka & paling tak suka. Kalo ada lagu yg Cassio suka tu, ha... nanti kiter buleh bagitau kat brother Leon.... bior dier rasa kembang idung sket! Pastu kalo ader lagu yg tak suka pung kiter akan habaq kat brother Leon... bior dier tau, next time kalo nak record lagu, bior yg best2 sket! Hehe!!:bgrin::bgrin:
