biar betoi, mirza tu kenkadang vulnerable, ada time bagus cam tph hari dgn justine, kenkadang dgn player tak bagos pon dia tonggek...
Li Na naik ranking berapa plak pasni?? |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
naik masuk top 10 laa
current points 3950 - 900 last year + 1400 this year = 4450 so dalam no. 8 ... roughly la... sbb malas nak check pemain lain punya points movement... for sure serena & venus hilang points berdebub-debab... dan li na mungkin naik ranking tinggi lagi dari no.8
sania mirza to win GS#1 for Asia? :re: |

Anyway,Australian Open 2011 dah pun berakhir dgn kemenangan Novak td..yg mana final td aku rasakan antara yg worst
men's single final in Grand Slam history !!
I dun know what wrong with Murray, setiap kali dpt peluang beraksi kat final, dia akan lepaskan mcm tu ajer...kalau la mcm tu
sampai bebila pun dia tak akan dpt GS title!
aku punyer la sokong dia mcm nk gila alih2 main mcm hampeh, very unsual side of Andy Murray!!
Apa2 pun semuanya dah lepas,so secara kesuluruhannya,AO 2011 ni ada kekurangan dlm game lelaki, women's punye game lagi entertaining, serious k!! Women's side was awesome, great to see ada pelapis WTA mcm Kvitova & Petkovic..and Li Na come into their own and each show a whole lot of personality. The Fran/Kuznetsova mtach was to die for..and then kita ada funny moment when Radwanska racquet disintegration...and Clijsters burning Todd Woobrigde in her interview after the match..
Lastly,women's final >>>>>>>> men's final !! |

We've been here before. Andy Murray, the British No.1, in a Grand Slam final. And this time, we really thought he could win it. His opponent was not Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal. It was Novak Djokovic, whom the Scot has beaten three times in their last three meetings. Yes, Djokovic has phenomenal first strike tennis, incredible movement, astonishing drive. But Murray has a way of working out people, working out the ways to beat them. He has a plan A, plan B, plan C. He had a chance.
But the Novak Djokovic that graced Rod Laver Arena was not the one-trick-pony Murray has beaten before. He was not physically fallible, he was not mentally fragile, in fact, he did hardly a thing wrong. Try as he might, Murray could not make an inroad, any inroad, to prevent the Serb claiming a second Grand Slam title, a second Australian Open crown.
As is the custom, the lower seed took to the court first, followed by the 2008 champion. The cheers were marginally louder for Djokovic, buoyed in huge part by several pockets of Serbs. Needless to say, they had no problem showing off their potential noise level when Ana Ivanovic appeared, dressed for an afternoon on Rodeo Drive, to sit in her childhood friend's box.
The honour of serving the first ball fell to the world No.3, taking just a few points to bring out the lassoo-like forehand that had so devastated Roger Federer. Squeaky shoes tripping around the baseline, backhand imitating backhand, forehand trying to live up to forehand, Djokovic took the match to Murray right from his opening service game, forcing the Brit through one break point, and five deuces in a 14-minute second game. A taste of what was to come, one thought.
With the seagulls, or silver gulls, to be precise, chirping over Rod Laver's open roof, Murray pushed, Djokovic pushed, the both pressuring the other, but, for a little while, not making an inroad. Rather like Francesca Schiavone, there are two dimensions to Djokovic's grunt, a donkey-esque quality, and it was in full force from the third game onwards.
First strike tennis from Djokovic, scrap and scramble tennis from Andy Murray, shadows appeared on the court as the set ping ponged back and forth between the two 23-year-olds. The Serbs on their feet at every changeover, one clad in what appeared to be rowing lycra in particular, it was Murray's wrong end of luck to be serving to stay in the set after 53 minutes.
It has often been said, and written, and published, that the great champions have an ability to turn a point, game, or set just with sheer mind power. Djokovic had that power this evening, coming out the better side of a 38-shot rally to earn himself two set points. The tempo up and down in draining and yet invigorating fashion, the set was the Serb's after 59 minutes.
The second set will not be one that Andy Murray wants to remember. Djokovic has been dubbed 'the falcon,' for some reason or another, whether it be hooked nose, or bizarre ability to sprout a full head of hair very soon after shaving it off. But there's another reason. There are times when he really can fly about the court, producing impossible splits, skips and hops, and, yet again, a forehand that one would keep in the safe. Holding serve to love, he then broke Murray for the second time in the match, held serve again, and held again. And all this while apparently not being able to see quite straight. If that's what was suggested by requesting eye drops at the interchange for the second successive match. Breaking Murray to love, and then holding with back-to-back aces, it looked like the Scot may be on the receiving end of his first bagel set in quite some time.
Thankfully, not. The gulls overhead swirling around chasing bugs for their supper, Murray not only held serve, he wriggled and writhed to get his first break points of the match, and broke back. But all in vein. It was delaying the inevitable. Another torturous game that had the press box eating their pencils, and Djokovic mastered the Murray serve again, breaking for the fourth time in the match, and a two-sets-to-love lead. |
