Synopsis

The premise of the show has KARA working for an underworld serviceas for-hires, but instead of killing their targets, their missionsrequire them to make those men fall in love with them. Each week, amysterious boss will give them their new target - from powerfulpoliticians to kabuki actors to ordinary salarymen - and they will useany technique they can to accomplish their goal. But due to theirinexperience with love, various problems come up during their missions.

Gyuri

KARA's leader, assuming the role of the "Goddess of beauty". Althoughshe has the character of a queen and seems unapproachable under immensepressure, she is actually very sentimental and easily moved to tears, amotherly figure to the other 4 members. She has professional-levelcooking skills.

SeungYeon

KARA's sub-leader, she's the sociable type who always has a brightsmile on her face. She is honest and does not lie, and she is a hardworker as well. However, there are many instances when she tries toohard by herself.

Nicole

KARA's fashion leader. There are many instances when she speaks andacts in odd ways, which baffles the people around her. She is a littledevil who loves playing pranks, but in actual fact, she matures theslowest among the KARA members. Her hobby is impulse buying.

Hara

A cool beauty, she is a tomboy with a frank and straightforwardpersonality. However, her real character is a rather cowardly one, andshe cannot stand pressure. Her favorite type of boys are the ones whomshe feels a strong pull towards.

Jiyoung

The youngest of the KARA members, she is an innocent spoilt child.However, she is actually the calmest most composed among the members.Gutsy and decisive, she gives advice to other members.

Park Seong Ir (Lee Ho Seong)

The manager of KARA's office. The powerful man who trained KARA intoone of the best idol groups in Korea, he suddenly took off on a tripone day. In order for KARA to have further progress and breakthroughs,he sent an android manager to the girls before his trip.

Manager Park No.2 (Mike Han)

Mysterious andriod. He is sent by Manager Park to be the new manager ofKARA's office. He gives commands to the members, telling them to be"Love Agents", i.e. "agents who make people fall in love with them".

Kansai Nozomi (Hamada Mari)

Hired by Manager Park, she will be KARA's new manager from Japan.

KARA’s “URAKARA” finds success + broadcast on Korean TV





Following KARA’s successful start to their new Japanese drama, ‘URAKARA‘, on January 14th, it was recently announced that the drama will soon be aired on Korean cable TV this coming January 28th.

Cable channel tvN will begin KARA’s 12-episode drama broadcast on the 28th at 8:30 PM KST under the name, “KARA’s Double Life”.

“KARA’s Double Life” illustrates a story about the girls transforming into spies, and they are given missions involving both virtual and reality dating. The members think of ways to catch the heart of a man, through which they gradually learn about true love and become perfect and charismatic top stars.

The first episode of “URAKARA” on January 14th received a viewer rating of 4% despite being broadcast at midnight. According to a representative in the Japanese TV industry, even receiving a 2% viewer rating at this time slot is a magnificent achievement in itself.
