berhenti keja...tak dpt bonus !

yo..
nak tanya sket eh.....aku dah keja company nie since october 05, so aku dah menti baru2 nie..last day 31 dec bulan nie.....pastuh derang caakp aku tak entitled to bonus 2006.....boleh ker jadi cam nie ???

hows ur company policy? and your contract of employment ada stipulate ker cara proportion of bonus kalau berhenti keje as at a certain time? |

betul tuh...bonus bkn co wajib bg unless, dah tulis dlm contract bape dpt, camne, biler, ape syarat laen etc...

check balik contract of employment, benda2 yg kena check - tang bonus payment :
1. While bonus is not a mandatory payment, tapi dlm contract ada tulis 'contractual bonus' maknanye bonus is payable
2. lepas tu check quantum of bonus - boleh jadi 1 month contractual, or 2 months etc etc
3. lepas tu check bila company bayor bonus
4. item number 3 ada kena mengena dengan eligibility, check tengok kalo its payable to those yg belum confirm or not, then setengah company only pays to those yg dah serve one year, kalo less than a year not eligible
5. then check kalo resign dapat ke tak, apa dia nyer syarat, setengah company letak syarat served 12 months in the company, but if you were to leave less than 12 months, pro rated bonus will be paid - meaning kalo resign sbelum serve 12 bulan bonus tetap bayor tapi pro rated
6. tapi some companies syarat dia kao resign tak dapat langsung, or kalo resign, on the date company bayar bonus you are not around then tak dpt la, kecuali on the month company bayar bonus you are still around then you will get the bonus
in summary, bonus will depend on your contract of employment, kalo takde dlm tu check employee handbook ok |

ko keje company swasta ker atau keje dgn gomen...
setahu aku keje dgn swasta memang tak diwajibkan pemberian bonus.. nak kasi bonus itu atas budi bicara majikan...
apsal ko berhenti awal sangat... patut nya ko tunggu dorang bagi bonus dulu baru ler ko hantar surat resign... |

fiscal year comp kamu dari bila sampai bila?
sesetengah comp ikut fiscal year, eg dari feb 05 sampai mar 06. then the bonus payment is not necessarily be paid within the month, kekadang 2-3 after that pun ada, for the purpose of calculation after everything else is calculated,
including profit after tax...
even if you've completed the fiscal year duration, tp kalau kamu dah takde time bonus payout tu ( might be 1 - 2 months later ), comp tak obligated to pay u |

Brief answer - kalau stated "contractual bonus" the company has to pay, kalau tak cukul 12 months, kena bayar pro rata.
tapi kalau performance base bonus - company has no obligation to pay, kalau nak bayar pun atas budi bicara company.
from my own experience, saya resigned 2 months before the bonus being paid, kalau ikut kebiasaan, company tu bagi bonus in July every year tapi sebab ada changed of management, tahun tu company bagi bonus in october, time tu I dah resigned tapi kalau ikut eveluation period, I've completed the 12 months - I mean the review period. Sepanjang I keje ngan company tu, my performance bonus never less than 5 months. I sent appeal letter -a few times but Head of HR tu memang siul punya org, he kept on saying tht's not his decision when it comes to company policy and said kena bawak for chairman's approval but he never did tht!! So I missed my 5 months bonus kat company tu. |

:setuju: Kalau keje bank or tempat keje kau ada persatuan pekerja...mungkin kau bole dpt...setidak-tidaknya pro-rata. Tapi kalau bukan tertakluk kepada contractual bonus....rasanya semua bergantung kepada budi bicara majikan. |

yup:setuju:, if not stated contractual bonus, memang susah skit la -tapi kalo terang2 ada tulis contractual bonus, its yours, tapi ni pun bergantung pada terms and conditions jugak, cam rey explain kat atas:nerd: |

masa burn berhenti hari tu, burn dapat gak bonus masa raya... alhamdullilah lah..burn berhenti lepas raya..kitaorang biasa dapat bonus masa raya bukan hujung tahun sebab dia panggil duit tu sebagai duit raya... |
