Skipping your meal, is it bad?

Assalamualaikum, dan selamat pagi semua.
Seperti tajuk diatas, okay ke jika saya kadang hanya sarapan pagi dengan minum segelas air kosong/susu sahaja? Dan pada waktu lewat petang/malam baru nak makan yang berat-ii?

No, I am not on diet. Badan saya tidaklah seberisi mana pun. Ayah saya marah bila saya cerita macam mana saya makan.

Segala nasihat/teguran anda amat dihargai.

Saya biasa tak sarapan. Tapi bergantung kepada aktiviti harian. Kalau jenis lifestyle perlu banyak tenaga, jgn skip makan

Tapi kalau mcm saya ni, kerja 8-5 mostly banyak duduk2, calorie intake tak perlu banyak. Setakat ni saya makan sekali sehari pun rasa ok

adik iols kena GERD sebab lambat makan. dia tak ikut waktu makan yang betul. konsepnya kalau sempat dia makan, kalau tak sempat makan kendian.

ya sangat tidak elok especially jika skip breakfast atau dinner
sebab itu lah dalam amalan puasa pun RSAW kata berpuasa lah dan berbuka lah (ie mkn dinner)
dan semasa puasa sgt digalakkan bersahur

to miss meals is really bad for caloric metabolism and can lead to obesity

Tak okay . Elakkan utk skip makan or makan lambat especially breakfast . There is a saying , eat your breakfast like a king.
Iolls dulu tk jaga mkn , makan tk ikut waktu . Lpstu kena gastrik , now berangin je badan ....

Wa'alaikumsalam. Yes, it is bad to skip meals. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, according to most health articles. But, mmg ye pun. This is because, sepjg kita tidur tu, kira mcm kita puasa. Jd bgn pg, mkn sarapan adh utk replenish our glucose supply, yg diperlukn utk boost kita punya energy level. Sbb tu ada saying that goes like this : 'eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper'.

I think your eating habit tu x healthy. You biarkan your stomach empty throughout the day, & only eat in the evening. This is like 'abusing' your body sbb camana nk dpt energy utk bekerja klu x mkn dr mlm sblmnya (based on you only drink water in the morning & don't know what time you had your dinner the night before). Lama2 this will take a toll on your body/health. Perhaps you shld consider changing your eating habit to a healthier one. Still not too late to start.
