- The story will revolve around the Criminal Intelligence Bureau (CIB).
- Michael Tse will reprise his role as Laughing Gor, who faked his death, and later went to Mainland as an undercover cop. After solving a big case, he returned to Hong Kong, and became a CIB drill sergeant. He will battle with Bosco Wong.
- Fala Chen will play Michael's girlfriend, whose looks resemble his previous girlfriend.
- MC Jin will play a cadet. He is Michael's subordinate.
- 30 episodes long.

- Bosco will play a triad member, who has a lame leg from getting beaten up. He has feelings of love and hate toward Kate, and they will have many intense scenes. He and Kate grew up together; he entered the triads to help pay for her post-secondary education.
- Damian Lau will play a cop. He is Michael's superior.
- Fala will play a Senior Inspector of Police, who is more mature and cool. She is Michael's superior and girlfriend, whose looks resemble his past girlfriend. She and Michael are a more conservative pair.
- Kate will play a barrister who handles the triads' legal affairs. She is considered a partial triad member. She is the nicest of the triad members.
- Mandy Wong will play an undercover cop.
- Elena Kong will play Damian's lover, who is a triad boss lady. She kills her husband for Damian.
- Mary Hon will play Fala's mother.
- Lily Leung will play Kate's grandmother.
- MC Jin will play a cadet. He is Michael's subordinate.
- Tat Dik will play a student who knows how to dance. He is Damian's son.
- KK Cheung will play a triad boss. He looks like a businessman on the surface, but he is actually an organized crime leader.
- Ben Wong will play Lat Keung (辣薑), a triad member. He is KK's assistant.
- Derek Kwok will play a cop.
- Sammy Sum will play a triad member.
- Ronald Law will play Kwok Ting Tin (郭定天), who has been sent by KK to go undercover as a cadet.
- Bella Lam will play a cadet.
- Hugo Wong will play Wang Chi King (汪子勁), a Senior Inspector of Police.

Derek Kok has received the script booklet for the upcoming series to be filmed on mid-March. The title of the series is called "Sneak Attack" 潛行狙擊 and not the previous name, "Salute Laughing Sir" or "Laughing Gor". The script writers for this series will be Au Guan Yin and Choi Shuk Yin.
