Actress Kim Sun Ah returns to the small screen in 3 years. Kim Sun Ah has been cast along with Lee Dong Gun in MBC's drama "When It's at Night" which will air starting this June 16th. This is the first project since her casting in 2005's MBC drama, "My Name is Kim Sam Soon."
揥hen It抯 at Night?is drawn from a romantic comic book about a playboy arts scholar, Kim Bum Sang who is crazy about virgins and property assets supervisor and ardent spinster who is looking for a national treasure which causes a turmoil. Kim Sun Ah抯 character, Huh Cho Hwi is a 29 year old woman who is constantly mistaken as crafty simply because of her natural-born sexiness. Lee Dong Gun will play a playboy arts scholar, Kim Bum Sang who's in charge of the safekeeping of the cultural assets. The story will be about how these two will cross paths and how this chance meeting will cause turmoil for both.

Kim Sun Ah will be playing 'Heo/Huh Cho Hee', a 29 yrs old "No.1 old maid" who is sexy with natural charms but is always mistaken by others that she's always faking it. She joins the Culture property exchange with the intentions of protecting and getting back the national treasures. Because of it, she becomes entwined in fate with 'Kim Bum Sang' (Lee Dong Gun) a flirtatious ancient fine arts study professor who is the group's consultant as they go round seeking the national treasures.

Murdered man was actor's brother

A South Korean student who was fatally stabbed in an attack in Sydney earlier this week was the brother of a top local actor, police in Seoul said today.
South Koreans were stunned to learn that the victim was the brother of Lee Dong-Gun, a popular actor, with internet sites flooded with messages of condolences from Lee's adoring fans.
Lee's 19-year-old brother died in the attack in the city centre in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Two men were later charged with the murder, as well serious wounding of a 20-year-old man, who was a freind of Lee's brother.
The friend remained in hospital with a serious stab wound to his upper body.
Lee's brother and his friend were both studying in Sydney.
Lee, 28, and his parents flew into Sydney on Thursday.
They broke down in tears after being told by Sydney police that the brother had died, news reports in Seoul said.
"He loved his brother so much. He was very proud of him. Whenever the brother returned home for vacations, he spent most of his time with the brother," an unidentified friend of Lee's was quoted as saying by Go News, an internet news provider.
Lee is one of the most popular South Korean actors and has starred in a number of hit movies and television dramas.
NSW police said the two South Korean students were attacked after an argument between them and a group of men near the World Square shopping centre, on the corner of Pitt and Liverpool streets, about 1am (AEDT) on Thursday.
The two men charged over the attack, 18-year-olds Michael Lee and Ivan Wong, both of Carlingford in Sydney's north-west, appeared in Parramatta Bail Court yesterday via videolink.
They faced charges of murder, causing wounding or grievous bodily harm to a person with intent to murder, and common assault.
Neither applied for bail and it was formally refused. Both are due to reappear at Central Local Court on March 25 for mention. |

Lee Dong Gun comes back to Korea and still acts in new drama.
After knowing his younger brother had been killed in Australia, Lee Dong Gun quickly flew to Sydney to hold funeral observances for his brother. Up to now, his state of mind has still not recovered.
In addition, Lee Dong Gun and his family will return to Korea on March 26, after that they will hold a funeral for his brother. Therefore, the plan to start filming MBC's new drama When It's At Night has been delayed.
According to new information from MBC, Lee Dong Gun will keep taking part in this film. The production company said that they would try to arrange to start filming the other actors and actresses' scenes (in which Lee Dong Gun doesn抰 need to appear). Waiting until Lee Dong Gun completely calms down, he will start filming his scenes. |
