The Padmanabhaswamy temple is a Hindu temple located in the state capital of Kerala, India. The temple is named the richest temple in the whole world as it is covered in gold. There is no exact date as to when the temple was built. The temple has 6 vaults and five of them have been opened in 2011, but there is the one secret vault that still remains unopened till date. A large number of treasure was found locked away in the five vaults including gold, silver, diamonds and other precious stones.

But the mysterious sixth vault or vault B is believed to contain more hidden treasures. The door is believed to be guarded by serpents image and anyone trying to open the doors shall invite trouble. There are several other mythical theories associated with this vault, including the wrath of the ocean and snakes, which assume religious significance for many. Centuries ago, when the temple management attempted to open the vault, they heard sounds of waves. As it sounded mysterious and frightening, they took a step back and withdrew their decision to open it. Since then, some people believe the vault is somehow connected to the Arabian Sea and opening it will flood the entire region.
