Q & A Buddha’s teachings and practice

Q: Do you think I will be able to understand and continue the Right Practice to attain the final salvation?

A: You should have open mind and realism to the Buddha’s teachings and practice. Pre-sectarian Buddhism is very simple but super realistic. If you see the Buddhism as a religion that monks in hidden monasteries use mysterious rituals or mantras for miracles and the final salvation, you will be very disappointed. Similarly, if you believe that mysterious rituals will call the Buddha to save you instantly, you will have serious problems to continue the Right Practice based on your own determination, confidence, and self-reliance.

So, if you are open minded, realistic, determined, confident, and self-reliant, you will be able to understand and apply the Right Practice in your everyday life and, therefore, attain the final salvation.
