Toy Story 4 was announced by Disney during an investor's call on November 6, 2014, tentatively scheduled for theatrical release on June 16, 2017. John Lasseter will return to direct, while the screenplay will be written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack from a story by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter and Lee Unkrich. Galyn Susman will produce. Lasseter has hinted that Toy Story 4 will be a love story. According to Lasseter, "Toy Story 3 ended Woody and Buzz’s story with Andy so perfectly that for a long time, we never even talked about doing another Toy Story movie. But when Andrew, Pete, Lee and I came up with this new idea, I just could not stop thinking about it. It was so exciting to me, I knew we had to make this movie—and I wanted to direct it myself." In March 2015, Pixar president Jim Morris stated that the film will not be a continuation of the third film but will instead be a stand-alone sequel. The same month, Variety revealed that Josh Cooley, the head of story on Pixar's Inside Out, had been named the co-director of Toy Story 4.

aku dpt rasakan perasaan mainan2 tu sebab aku pun ada mainan bnyak juga Hopefully Toy Story 4 boleh potong kutipan Frozen. Tapi Frozen 2 nak keluar pulak. Btw, aku tak sabar nak tunggu Finding Dory. Dorg akan alami masalah dlm memberikan jalan cerita yg sebagus toy story 3...dlm toy story 3 dorg dh pn conclude kn perjalanan kehidupan andy & his toy di mana ternyata amat2 menyentuh perasaan insan2 yg pernah mpunyai koleksi permainan..

this is my one beloved animation.. it has a really special place in my heart..finding nemo, and toy story series are the animations that I really really love.. for me, toy story series has its own magic that no other can achieve....but unlike the first 3 ones.. this 4th instalment is a major let down....well It is still a good movie but it is not in the same league as its earlier series..

- focus pada watak2 tak menyeluruh.. semua watak2 pentingmacam Rex, Bullseye, Slinky Dog, the Potato head dan jessie mcmkurang sangat screen timenya.. sangat rasa kekurangan bila focus tak menyeluruh pada karakter2 favourite tu.. tapi lebih pada watak baru yg tak menarik sangat
-storyline agak membosankan....adventure danelemen emosi yg kurang tak seperti sebelum2 ni..
-tak ada watak antagonist..watakgabby gabby pun biasa2 dan sopan je jadi tak ada thrill mcm series sebelum ni
-perubahan karakter mcm bo, yg kita kenal lemah lembut jadi lost toy yg tough.. woody pulak terlalu selfless dan loyal tapi last2 dia buat pilihan tinggalkan kawan2 dia..that is so not him.. he would’ve want to be with everybody to make sure everybody is ok.. well ye la bonnie mcm dah tak perlukan woodie sangat.. but woodie that we know is very loyal to his friends
-dan tak suka bila toys tu mcm terlalu ‘masuk’ dlm kehidupan manusia sangat.. siap buat suara gps..
- to summarise everything up, I think they should have stopped at the 3rd movie.. that ending was perfect..well at least that is what I think
-someday hollywood has to stop ruining its own reputation just for the sake of money.. if you cant create better sequels.. then stop making them
