Differences between REBALLING AND REFLOWING
Well dear friends and customer.Good day and nice to meet you all. Well today I'm going to discuss about the difference between reballing and reflowing.
When you send your laptop to a shop, this what they always say.
" Kami akan tukar chipsets, gpu s, Dan tukar graphic card" , I feel so funny when I heard all this crap story. They advertise and in their banner stating that we are pakar repair laptop, pakar repair motherboard, pakar repair graphics and again we have experienced repair motherboard for 8 years.... but in reality they onlu know what is the problem, and the symptoms . Other than they dont even know what is the exact problem.
How many of you believe this ? and how many of believe that your laptop have graphic problem and the graphic has changed one to one basis. No such thing in this world the graphic gpu change. They only repair the chip in term of " reballing"
What is reflowing and reballing which can last longer?
Reflowing can be done at anytime with low budject machine.
Before I'm talking about reflowing and reballing, well what is GPU , NVIDIA OR ATI ?

The first picture shows Nvidia gpu and the second picture shows ATI gpu. Well, both gpu play a part in your laptop motherboard not only controlling graphics display, at the same it also play role such as wifi faulty and touch pad fauly.
Forget about thatsecond. From the picture you can on your right hand side, the white tiny DOTS. What is that?....Yes that is balls which is stocked with motherboard Nevada gaps and this will attach with motherboard , while the motherboard get information from this.
Well, how this gpu can spoil, is this is the part. Well, you can see 100## of laptop repair will advertise this, clean motherboard fan, cpu fan . But do they explain why we should clean the fan?

What is purpose of the FAN? and why the place like that?...this is general quesitione people can ask.
Well the fan will release the heat from the GPU which I told you just now, ATI or NVDIA. It takes out the heat from the motherboard and release it. You can see white dust clogged and which makes the air not flow our from the motherboard. Since it can release out much heat and the heat stucked the motherboard, high chances the heat can melt the balk.
What ball can melt?....where is the ball from ?

The first picture show the GPU and second picture shows GPU balls. The white balls. So this is the problem why the gpu fail because overheat can make your balls to melt easily, so that the problem starts with graphic problem. Now understand ?
Second, what is rebelling, yes, this is a long process of Reballing.
First of this is the first process of taking out the gpu from the motherboard.

When the gpu taken out from the motherboard , the balls will stick out on the motherboard and GPU as well. So ttechnician have to take out both side balls in one time. Second you can see the balls were taken out from both side.

Ok from this you can see technician is removing the final balls stucked and sticked on the motherboard and on the gpu.

Applying flux for cleaning and removing rest of old tin from soldering points.

Ok now done with arranging new balls on the GPU and last step to stick back the gpu whic we reballed on the motherboard.

Final stage applying and termo -fixation protective glue. Just to make sure the gpu is sticket corrently on the motherboard and tiny layer of dust not move into the balls.
That all, this what we call repair motherboard graphic repair.
Dont try this at your house only watcing youtube or manual. Because each of the process must be done accordingly to the pressure from the machine. If over pressure then high chances the motherboard can dead.

Ini yang simple proceedure , mana mana laptop boleh rosak dalam 1 atau dua tahun. Kegunaan laptop ini makin kerap, dan simple procedure, satu laptop atau motherboard boleh tahan dalam 2 tahun aje maximum,
Kos reballing rm300?....ada kedai bagi sampai rm300?.....haha
kita hanya charge rm250, kena buka tengok macam mana keadaan chipset tu,
kalau ok kami reball, buka "reflow" yeh.....kalau chipset ada bubble kami tukar terus.
Bro ada pakai kereta?......bro ada pakai barangan elecktronik? kalau u pakai kereta pun warrantyy diorann bagi dari 3 - 5 tahun, tapi pernah beza harga barang same dengan service centre dan 3rd patry?...mesti ada beza....

tapi rata2 customer bukan duk kl aja, ada duk utara tanah air, ada duk selatan, ada duk sabah, ada duk sarawak
ada yg kt felda, kt kg2, hulu punya tmpt.. tu yg harga naik smpai rm300, nk kos minyak lagi, nk anta pi, nk cari jln , cari kedai, ulang alik.

better beli board baru 2nd hand ka atau buat rebail.
Apasal US takdak pon orang sana buat mende2 reballing nih.Tak semua yg orang US buat betul, but in this case it looks like memang obvious apasal diaorang tak buat.Reballing ni memang tak berbaloi, tahan sekejap jer.Kalau tahan 6 bulan buat per, kalau bayar rm10 pon tak berbaloi, kang rosak balik, banyak masa nak pi hantar repair je.Nih teknik low quality dari china ke?typical quick fix nak pocket duit cepat ke.

First of all are you a computer technician ? Your a end user at first.
First of all you guys must differentiate betweek reballing , reflow and change chip.
Kalau sebagai bro kata orang US, how many laptop or customer or friends whom your are bring to me? In this market no such thing as new motherboard? Im in this field already 8 years, are you able to look for the new motherboard in malaysia?... When ever you send to shop how many shops are giving explanation on what they are doing and what they are changing?, they only use this word to you " changing chipset", betul keh changing chipset and if they offer you rm250 with installation, then how much they get each chip?, first of all do they know what mean chip set?, haha
Bukan semua laptop kena reball, and one more thing im using acer 4730z almost 5 years, only one time my lcd got line and untill now motherboard is ok, im not talking about the old generation, everyday we are doing repairing so we know what are the models and how long each motherboard can long.
First of all not all motherboard spoil and need to change motherboard, problem such as cannot on, no display for intel ,auto restart, token issue, deem display all this consider as minor problem only. What you understand by minor problem? chipset?...haha not at all. Its a very common problem whereby we able to fix the laptop within one hour.
Tricks by china?...well only people know here is MADE IN CHINA means it must low quality or must spoil in few months. Well are you using samsung ? Ipad "? Iphone ? remember this non of the electric products made in other countries, most of the products made in china, and even the original motherboard made where?...malaysia?....
