ftp server
aku nak set ftp server hosting dr pc aku.so pakai innacomm w7100n sebagai router dgn dynamic ip.app digunakan cerberos in xp environment.
dah set semua..port check guna canyouseeme kata 21 dah buka..tp kena bila aku try login guna ftp://external.ip.aku.da/, bila dah isi username dan password utk logon, keluar error : 530 login incorrect
ada sesiapa blh bagi pendapat?

oobi dah lama tak buat ni, hopefully masih ingat sikit-sikit. when you setup an ftp server on a non-server type system, the procedure is similar if not the same. the different is, the configuration for the server is right there in front of you, while the non-server type is kind of hidden.
in your case, make sure your user ID is configured and has permission to logon locally, has access to the computer from the network and anonyous login is disable. to check, go to MMC, add "Group Polic Object" snap-in and configure them under "Local Computer Policy". i think, look under security settings.

rasanya itu untuk windows server...mine is using a 3rd party apps..carberus.
Kalau tak silap, kat router kena buat port forwarding. set port forwarding ke ip pc ko tu, kemudian guna port ftp yang ko nak, contohnya port 21.

port forwarding dah settled.
http://www.canyouseeme.org/ dah nampak pc aku melalui port 21.
