Clover Point - at Dallas Road - where I used to take a walk with the kids or / go for a run when we lived in Victoria (James Bay) --

Saturn and Jupiter getting closer and closer. On Dec 21, these two will be VERY close, the closest in over 600 years,
creating the appearance of a super-bright star--possibly rivaling the Star of Bethlehem.
- Jupiter is the lower of the two bright 'stars.' If you look closely, you can see one of Jupiter's 4 moons, Calisto, just below it.
- The two together cast a 'planet-beam' on the ocean at lower right.
- Taken Dec 11 by Clover Point on Dallas Road around 5:30 pm.It sets below the southwest horizon around 6:40 pm.
