Pucca (Korean: 뿌까 ) is a media franchise from the South Korean company Vooz Co., Ltd. and currently distributed in the US by The Walt Disney Company. The main character Pucca is the 10-year old niece of three Chinese noodlehouse owners. The Noodle House is located in Sooga Village, a smallvillage in the mountains. Pucca is in love with the 12-year-old ninja, "Garu" (가루 ).Pucca always seems to beat him in combat and unintentional competition,simply by sheer wit. The characters are quite popular in Europe andAsia, with TV animation in cartoon channels in Europe, Central andLatin America. These animations were compiled into a DVD, available inGermany. A UK children's book publisher (Hodder's) has also published aseries of Pucca children's books. Basically, the story revolves around Pucca who will try to steal a kiss from Garu...

In the initial period, Pucca was an online animated series made with Macromedia Flash by original company Vooz Co., Ltd.. Many of its greeting cards and flash episodes center around Pucca's comical attempts to steal a kiss from Garuand the competition at times between the two characters. The characters
1) Pucca - a 10-year old girl. Hopelessly in love with Garu
2) Garu - a skilled ninja whose training was always interrupted by Pucca
3) Abyo - Garu's best friend. Headstrong, impulsive & a tad stupid. (he sounds a little like Bruce Lee.. wacttha!!)
4) Ching - Pucca's very sweet best friend. She's in love with Abyo
5) Tobe - a ninja who strives to defeat Garu, but he always got defeated by non other than, Pucca! :laugh3: He has a gang full of ninjas but often times they are useless :lol:
6) Uncle Dumpling, Ho and Linguini - Pucca's uncles/guardians. works at Guh-Ryong Restaurant
7) Ling Ling - a rich girl who's jealous of Pucca & always try to outdo her. An opera singer & can transform intoa siren-like persona when she's angry. Often the cause of it would be Pucca getting in her way.
8) Santa - originally a thief. he has other jobs (such as being a doctor or a taxi driver) :loveliness:
