Everyone disappeared to the backstage and we watched a compilationof Kim Bum’s scenes from his projects. It was cute that 95% of hisscenes from BoF that they showed were with So Eun. Another round ofscreaming came and he came through the door in the back right, and tothe aisle on my right, so this time I was 3 chairs away. I tried totake a video, but I pressed the wrong button. Sadness. He had changedinto his So Yi Jeong clothes and took the stage again. At this time, wehad about a minute to take as many pictures as we wanted. Bummie wassplashed with flash and clicks from multiple directions.

After this Bummie thanked people for loving So Yi Jeong and thesuch, and the MC revealed that he would pick 3 lucky girls to go onstage to take pictures with him. So many possibilities ran through mymind. I could tell him to “please marry So Eun”, say how fabulous hewas, say how far I’ve came to see him, etc etc, but I knew my chanceswere slim.
At this time I took out my ticket and prayed to be picked. He pickedan A201, and Maria and I were both like “AWW!!” The numbers we had werevery close. Then another number which I couldn’t remember. Finally hewas drawing the last ticket. I saw the backside was gold and slumpedinto the chair. P numbers have gold back sides. I put the ticket backinto my bag and watched as happy and overwhelmed fans went up to stage.
Then a couple seconds later the MC started asking for someone whodidn’t come on stage. That person didn’t show up so Kim Bum would pickagain!!! I sat up, but didn’t take out my ticket. It was a white back,an A number. The MC said a Japanese number and I was totally lost.Maria bounced in her chair and shook my arm excitedly and told me itwas my number. WHAT?!
I shouted “OH!” really loudly and then fumbled through my bag for myticket while the BRIGHT WHITE light shined on me. It was indeed mynumber. A210. I screamed and RAN up the stage. I stood next to theother girls and waited for my picture to be taken. I let the othergirls go first.
As my heart pounded in my chest and my whole body shook, I stoodnext to Bummie and he put his hand around my back and we took apolaroid picture. Then he shook my hand and I said kamsahamnida. Thenas he was about to turn around, I said, “Bummie-yah”, in which heturned to look at me again. I said, “소은이랑 결혼하세요” (Please marry So Eun).He was like “Ne?” with a surprised look. Either he didn’t understand me(I was so nervous I’m sure my Korean was very accented), or he didn’texpect me to speak Korean, let alone that sentence. Then as I repeatedit, the MC gave me the micrphone and I spoke it to everyone to hear (Ohdear, my voice and my FACE is going to be on this Tokyo Fan Meeting DVDX_X).
Maria told me he had an awkward smile on after I said please marrySo Eun, and he looked shy, but I totally did not notice. I was toooverwhelmed by taking the picture with him. Just as I was about to getoff the stage, they stopped me and said they would give me thepolaroid, WITH AN AUTOGRAPH! I stood by the table as Kim Bum stoopedover and signed his name in a Sharpie. I bowed and thanked him againand ran back to my seat, and Maria and I hugged in excitement. It wasjust so OMG! Later on Maria told me that the MC (not Kim Bum’stranslator) translated my message as “please marry me”. I guess shedidn’t understand or get the So Eun-ie part. It’s okay because therewere probably other Korean fans who understood me, if not the Japanesefans who knew who So Eun was. Kim Bum’s translator didn’t say anything,and it was obvious he knew what I said.

Kim Bum read us a letter to the fans, which Maria translated somefor me. I was again too much in shock to comprehend the beautifulletter (What were the chances… one in 300+?). They did their endingwords and we were excused one row at a time from the back.

As we came out Kim Bum greeted us from the left. I bowed to him as Isaid goodbye, and Maria said that he looked at me especially as if herecognized me. Oh goodie. Now I will be remembered as the girl whoasked him to marry So Eun at the Tokyo fan meeting. That’s not bad! Ihope he calls/texts So Eun to tell her about this! First he got thebanners in Philippines and now a spoken message. I wonder what is nexthaha.

Thank you God, thank you Maria, and thank you Kim Bum for drawing mynumber. He was so cute with perfect skin and small face and flawlesssmile. But he does look very skinny. Eat more please Bummie-yah~
